4 Stars Hotels in Padang, Indonesia

The second night staying here after my sons asked me to stay more nights in the same hotel with ocean view. Last year we stayed here, too. Recommended hotel for vacation and pleasure.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and supporting by friendly and helpful staffs. The location is strategic, at the centre and nearby the beach. I like the breakfast. Variety of delicious of traditional foods. Excellence.

I had the most pleasant stay here. The bedroom is pretty big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is huge, I had the main street view. What I love most about this hotel is that it has a mini fridge. The check in process was pretty fast, less than two minutes. Before you want to check in, make sure you have 200.000 IDR with you for the deposit. But, don't worry! There's an ATM (BCA) next to the hotel. The location is very strategic. It's easy to get to some places, like bars, traditional market, supermarkets, the beach, and restaurants. I didn't get to try the food and the drink at the bar. Apparently, they're pretty expensive and you need to pay 21% additional fee for tax. The thing that I think needs to be improved is the TV. The quality of the TV is pretty bad. Looks like it's full of ants. But, I am okay with that. Who watches TV nowadays anyway? Also, the wifi is pretty slow. Overall, I would give this hotel a rate of 9 out of 10. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

What is more than perfect? 1st of all I say thank you for serving me so well during the stay. For all the staff and the management, you all were so great. No disappointment and recommended hotel not only in Padang but to the whole on West Sumatera. Cleanness? Don't worry about the hygiene. Interior design? I even prefer this hotel interior than where my dad was work on. To be honest, I am picky enough to decide where I should stay at but this hotel more of value. May I say that the location is in the center of city? Surrounded by so many destination you can visit and much of cuisines around. Easy to find, of course. For additional, this hotel for free providing you a nice view on the sky pool, thorough of gym equipment which is satisfying included spa treatment, great taste of foodie, a sky bar for your night view, and go take a look around using their bicycle. Find the hills with sea for the landscape on this hotel. I recommend you to book higher floor for better view. I attached some pictures and I'm sorry for most of them is in the restaurant. That's my favorite place. I would like to be able to giving you a souvenir as appreciate the hotel services on the next visit. That would be such a pleasure and a honor for me. See ya.

It's such a good place to spend the night with a cozy and clean room. If you need to go spinning around, you can take a taxi or other public transportation. If you love to go shopping, there's shopping center in the next building. You can eat, you can have fun, or just go sightseeing. Thanks, Basko. I love it.

Very good ambience. My baby feel like home here. Extend the room for 2 days. But, the breakfast menu is less varied. Waited too long when checkout at receptionist :( Thank you Mercure Padang, for the room and services. We are glad for the improvement ahead!

The Hotel Room was clean and so big! Me and my family enjoy staying at this hotel. This hotel is an old school but with a new ambience! Gonna choose this hotel all over again if I'm visiting Padang (:
