I stayed for the new years eve. I searched for available hotels near the city center two days before, and found some good deals in Majapahit Hotels. The reservation went fast, I got great service from the receptionists and staffs. The strategic location was perfect for spending joyful event, without feeling disturbed because the room location was quiet far from the festival. The room was huge and comfortable, with beautiful and classic design, equipped with beautiful bathroom with shower and bathtub. I went swimming, Jacuzzi, and sauna. The breakfast was nice, with wide range of choice from local and international menus. The checkout process went fast. Generally speaking, it was worth the price to stay at this 5-stars and historical hotel.

This is a wonderful, historic hotel in the heart of the city. The large, beautiful rooms are equipped with everything you need. The grounds are immaculately kept. The staff is very polite & helpful. The entertainment & food options are great!

Sadly today is our last at the Hotel Majapahit, Surabaya , at least for a short while.
What a wonderful experience beginning with the most welcoming staff and Management to our beautifully appointed suit overflowing with antiques and old-world charm!
The hotel is so stepped in history the first few days (in between relaxing by the pool, shopping and visiting some great restaurants nearby) were spent exploring the significance of the roll the Hotel Majapahit played in the independence of Indonesia.
As "foodies" and keen "shoppers", Surabaya has plenty of options and certainly great value for money all within a short distance of the hotel.Â
We loved our time at the Hotel Majapahit and extend our warmest thanks to all, especially General Manager, Kahar Salamun. See you again soon!

A classic and well-maintained hotel, friendly staffs and great variety of breakfast buffet menu. It's located in a very strategic area with interesting tourists spots in the neighborhood only within walking distance. Even more, the reception upgraded our room reservation to Heritage suite. Thank you for the great service, we will definitely come back here someday.
