Overprice, staff was rude and seems like normal for them to treat customer bad cause they say that they ever get viral cause of the attitude and didn't change for that, room too small for the price. And also, the rooftop bar was too loud and very disturbin in our room. Once is enough, sorry not for the second.

The hotel overall is a nice place to stay in Samosir area. Slow at check in. Its the newest around so far. We did our 20th dinner anniversary on the roof top bar for teppanyaki. We took the most expensive package available since my hubby really like to try the prime wagyu steak, which was not cheap at all. They gave us a trainee to serve us under chef supervision from far away. At he beginning all good, however the last two meal (shrimp and wagyu steak, yes the awaited prime wagyu steak!) Was terrible. The trainee put so much alcohol for fire showing which was unsuccessful several time causing the shrimp and steak bitter. To the point it couldn't be eaten. We even asked the chef to taste the steak, he admitted right away. However all we got is sorry without any further attempt to ease our dissapointment. Such a bad experience.

Staff ramah, check in mudah, check out juga smooth. Yg paling berkesan, shower di kamar mandi luar biasa mantap ๐ deraas dan hangatnya cepat sekali, love it! Kamar bersih, AC kamar juga oke. Minusnya hanya in room dining, pilih 3 menu, 2 menu biasa2 saja (pizza dan fish and chip), namun 1 nya bener2 gak bisa kemakan, yaitu chicken wingnya, amis puoll, jd tak dimakan. Jus nanasnya enak ๐, harga nya standar bintang 5, yaitu mahal. ๐. Di rooftop cafe nya, minuman2 alkoholnya harga selangit mau 10x lipat dr harga biasa, mgkn karena gk ada yg jual lagi se-samosir raya yaa. Makanan cafenya biasa saja, cake nya yg dijual di restaurant lt 1 juga biasa saja, kdg2 di breakfast ada potongan2 cake nya dipajang juga. Overall, next Kuala Lumpur rate harga hotelnya masih oke, sy akan stay lagi, namun untuk makanannya harap diperbaiki rasanya, Kuala Lumpur penampilannya sih mantap hehehe.

This is a brand new hotel. Location: 10/10 super strategic. Food: 8/10 restaurant staff didnโt know their wines even though wine options were included in the restaurant menu. Great breakfast options. Customer service: 5/10 they left me on read on whatsapp and only replied after I double texted the next day ๐. Price: 7/10 I got twin lake view. Equivalent room in Bali would cost 15-25 % cheaper. Nonetheless, this is the only five-star in Samosir. Your alternatives would be two- or three-stars and I donโt recommend those. Misc: there are speedboats available for rent from an independent third party at the deck plus bikes, motorbikes, and electric mini cars at the front lobby. They only accept cash, QRIS (Indonesian banksโ barcode payment system), and physical cards. Contactless payment is not yet supported so be prepared. I did not see money changers around. Staff members speak sufficient English and are friendly.

Room and amenities were great, but the food, especially breakfast was terrible for this class of accommodation. Also, we called for tea but was not allowed to have a free refill. Not a big deal, but gives an image of bad service.

Location is nice. View is excellent to lake. My only complaint when dinner they don't have menu and instead they offer us buffet for 250k per person. Not suitable when we bring our children and family for a light dinner. Overall it is a great experience stayed in this hotel. My children is very happy. Recommended

New hotel. Room is nice and comfy. Bathroom is clean. Internet WIFI surprising at 250mbps. My only complaint is price for children above 6 for breakfast is too expensive. 200K. Recommended for tourist for 5star hotel in samosir
