Kambaniru Beach Hotel and Resort

No refrigerator and phone in the room is not working well.

Comfort and clean room with good facilities (pool, bikes, etc), good breakfast menus, nice and helpful staffs, good location not far from airport. But cellular network or wifi signal is very weak or not good enough to acces from the room.

The room and facilities are good. But for breakfast they have to fix it again. In terms of presentation and food, especially for egg stations, they need to be more trained on how to make good eggs.

The bed cover smells bad, seems like it 's not completely dry yet. No “thank you” words from the front office after the check out. The Hainan Chicken I got for a dinner seems not fresh, the chicken got a weird smell. The place was pretty tho, but with thoose service I'm not sure they were ready for a 4 star hotel.

Well as you seen in google review, they really need to improve breakfast menu quality, i’m not gonna say it bad, but the variation of the menu didn’t meet our expectation for 4-star hotel… but the rest of service is excellent…

Beautiful modern architecture in arid beautiful landscape of East Sumba. Kambaniru falls into options as I have seen some online advertisiment which reveales a beautiful sleek architecture. The hotel is located on the skirt of Waingapu, facing the mangrove area. This property was opened early this year and the grand opening happened when I stayed there. All guests were invited to join the feast as all food-related outlet was closed to give the staff and their family the opportunity to join the event. There not much walls on the public area;  the lobby and Tanarara restaurant on 2nd floor are very airy. There are 2 big function halls and a pool overlooking the trees bordering the hotel and mangrove area. The corridor to the most farthest room is quite long. The room is big and well appointed. Big good matrass with 4 good pillows are added. Room is well lit. The bathroom features big shower area. The service is good and friendly. The price is pretty reasonable. As a new hotel, there are some improvements needed. Service: there is no one at the entrace, so we need to carry our lagguge to the receptionist. This may happen since everyone was busy preparing the big event that night. Other than that is good to great. Food: I have only had breakfast. The meals is OK, improvements is needed. Choice of fruit can be improved as well. Coffee provided in breakfast definitely needs to replaced. Room: the lighting in the room needs to be improved a lot. There is only one switch for the whole room while in a resort, guests will expect ambience light. Some table lamp or floor lamp will help a lot to achieve the good ambience. In-room small fridge and SDB will give additional value as well as handsoap at bathroom and additional cloth hanger. Others: some umbrellas in pool area would be nice and pool towel as well. Another important thing needed is good and visible direction to the hotel. The current direction was placed high on electricity pole and often hard to spot as it is not on eyelevel. More information on the distance would be nice to let visitors know they are approaching the hotel. I would love to go back in the future.
