Hotel Luna

In Vigan’s four-star Hotel Luna, guests don’t just get comfort and convenience, but a close-up look at Philippine art as well. Calling itself the first and only museum hotel in the Philippines, Hotel Vigan houses an art museum alongside its elegant rooms, beautiful courtyard, and its restaurant and bar.

The hotel is 14 minutes away by car from Vigan’s Mindoro Airport. It’s a seven-minute walk from the Vigan City Hall and eight minutes away from the Ilocos Sur Provincial capitol. The Mestizo River is four minutes away by car.

Rooms at Hotel Luna are divided into four room types: the Queen Standard Rooms, the Double Queen deluxe Rooms, the Loft Suite, and the Executive suite. All rooms have air-conditioning and complimentary WiFi. A television with cable channels is also available in the rooms, as well as an en suite bathroom that has a shower and a set of bath amenities.

Three dining options are available to hungry guests: Comedor, Chula Saloon Bar, and Azotea. Comedor offers Ilocano and Spanish dishes as well as select international items. Meanwhile, beers, wines, and liquor are on offer at the Chula Saloon Bar. Snacks can be had at Azotea.

Guests looking for culture can check out Hotel Luna’s art museum, which features a range of artwork from master painters, contemporary artists, and even from Juan Luna himself. Guests can also choose to explore the historic city of Vigan. Calle Crisologo is only four minutes away by foot, while the Crisologo Museum is five minutes away. The Syquia Mansion is a two-minute walk away, while Plaza Burgos is three minutes away.
