Regular handbuilding class
The pinching (massage) technique is one of the basic techniques in making ceramics which uses the fingers in the formation process by massaging consistently. The resulting work usually emphasizes the texture of each finger massage.
In this class we provide general theory about ceramics to participants, demonstrations in making and assistance in the manufacturing process starting from forming, as well as applying color with engobe to the ceramic bodies made by participants.
Regular wheel throwing class
The throwing technique is one of the basic techniques in making ceramics that uses a turntable. The resulting work is usually cylindrical in shape, such as a cup, bowl or plate.
In this class we provide general theory about ceramics to participants, demos in making turning techniques as well as assistance in the manufacturing process from forming, trimming (tidying, making legs), and painting with the application of underglaze on the body of the ceramics made by the participants.
