As has been mentioned above, since 2022 Mandurah's lush area has been transformed into one massive exhibition of Giants Masterpieces by a famous artist named Thomas Dambo as one collaboration with the City of Mandurah Itself.
This big project is supported by many organizations and the official Western Australian State Government through funding from Tourism WA’s Regional Events Program and the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries, but not stopping there, this project is also supported by the Lotterywest which is an Australian government agency that distributes funds from lottery games to support a community project. Alcoa Foundation which is the charitable arm of aluminum mining giant Alcoa is another major supporter that takes a big role in the competition of the project.
Now, with all that support, resulting on the six iconic giants nestled inside the massive Mandurah area which is called the “Giants of Mandurah.” Each of the sculpture are purposely scattered through the Mandurah region with each having its own unique purpose, which is to raise awareness about the environmental issues and the importance of protecting the natural world.
