Lovely hotel. Room service is NOT 24 hours. We had delayed flight and got in at 23:50 and buy time got room, room service shut so no food. The biggest issue is the bathroom floor (including shower) is made of tiles that the walls have and is VERY SLIPY. Multiple times we slipped and just managed to grab something to stop us falling (Really need to sort it). On the plus side the room was spacious and the bed and pillows 10/10.

Our experience at this 'five-star' hotel was deeply disappointing and far below the standards expected. The main issue stemmed from a serious miscommunication regarding the need to purchase a wedding package to allow guests into our room or even the hotel. This information was never shared with us during the booking process. In fact, we called the hotel two days prior to confirm that we would be bringing guests and were assured over the phone that it would be no problem. The staff even kept us on hold to confirm this, so we trusted their word. On the day, however, we were informed this wasn’t allowed, leaving our guests—who had traveled long distances—unable to join us. Had we been told in advance, we would have gladly purchased the required package. The manner in which my wife was treated during this situation was unprofessional and cold. The staff showed no empathy or willingness to accommodate despite her genuine efforts to comply with the hotel's policy and purchase another package being told 'it can't be changed'. Instead, she was subjected to an unnecessary amount of paperwork, signing the same document multiple times with different staff members. Their attitude was dismissive—avoiding eye contact, sighing, and making it clear through their body language that they were uninterested in resolving the issue. Adding to the disappointment, my mother-in-law, who is from a province in Argentina, was treated as though she didn’t belong. She was given looks that made her feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point where she wanted to leave. This behavior was utterly unacceptable and discriminatory. The stark contrast in treatment when I, a British citizen, arrived was appalling. No guest should be treated differently based on their nationality or background, and it is shocking that such behavior occurred in a hotel of this caliber. When my wife raised her concerns earlier in the day, nothing was recorded or taken seriously. It was only when I addressed the issue later in the evening with a new staff member on duty that the complaint was finally noted. This highlights a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns by the staff who initially handled the situation. This experience was extremely disappointing. A five-star hotel should prioritize clear communication, professionalism, and respect for all guests. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on all fronts. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements changes to ensure no other guest has to endure such a frustrating and upsetting experience. p.s. The room they gave us had a view of the slums where I'm sure they received their training for treatment of visitors.

You check in and the hotel appears all good and fancy. Once you check in, they take your credit card for guarantee, which is standard, but be aware they take more than £200 straight away without notifying you, Their explanation was in case we use the water in the room!! Which is chargeable in such 5 star hotel. Limited tea coffee facility. They just want to suck out money from you We were booked by Oceania Cruise, glad we didn't book our other 2 nights here. A scam , Let's see what else is chargeable when we have breakfast tomorrow!

We stayed here due to being on a Hurtigruten cruise to Antartica and so we didn't choose it ourselves. This was labelled as a five star hotel and whilst the rooms with hold this status the staff let it down in certain areas , i.e the bar, restaurant and breakfast staff. On our last night (27th feb) it was particularly worse. We ordered drinks and they didn't come for 15 minutes even though we asked for them before the meal. The main waiter was rude and off-handish preferring to chat to the lady serving behind the bar and tell us he was really busy which always annoys me as that sentence suggests were not important. It got even quieter in the bar area and an older man came to join them who looked like he could be a manager as he had on a different suit and he was just as bad chatting to the staff.By then we had asked for more drinks and even though it was quiet we still waited and waited.I looked up and on the bar were our drinks so i went to fetch them and the girl said she would bring them over and then still stood and had a conversation before bringing them across! The meals that were served were ok but the chips were always cold and when you asked for ketchup it never came on three occasions. The breakfast was awful. The bacon was like leather and the fried eggs were overdone and wrinkled. My husband asked for some more fried eggs as they had run out and the waiter said he would come back with some .After half an hour the waiter bought him three fried eggs on a plate that looked like something you would get from a cheap cafe! All in all poor for 5 star. The only good staff were on the doors and reception.

This is a five star hotel. The quality of the rooms, facilities and the spa were impeccable. Everything you would expect from a five star hotel. I got there super late, the late night check in mentioned I could check out late. I thanked him and went up, since I was jetlagged I didn't wake until almost midday. When I called to ask for more time I was denied, despite being told the night before it'd be no problem. I even offered to pay an extra night but they refused and said they were at capacity. To be fair they did honor their promise of letting me use the spa after check out. Everything else was excellent.
