Stayed in a Queen Superior so it had a renovated bathroom but the rest of the room was in need of renovating. There was a strong smell of maybe a toilet block in the room that I was unable to find??
The bed sheets were fresh and clean.

New owners have done a lot of improvements since they took over last year. eg fantastic shower(was over the bath before) plenty of room to move and no danger of tripping over the edge of the bathanymor.

Good for a nights stop over room was large.
I wouldn't stay more than one night as the strong smell of stale cigarettes and the scents they used to try to mask it was so overpowering it gave me a headache.
I actually didn't sleep well at all due the the smell.
Overall ok for a quick stop over.

Clean functional space. Loved the TV on the pivoting stand.
The bedside lights positioned on the wall at the head of the bed with a glass shade was the exact right height for everyone to hit their heads!

3 minutes after I arrived, after reception has closed, they came and unlocked the door without a hassle at all.
Lamp was broken but that was the only problem and not at all an issue. Would stay again if passing through Dubbo.

Place was clean but dated, but beds were comfortable and room was a good sized.
However, there were people drinking outside their room next door. Constant swearing, loud music and yelling.
Can't really fault the staff for this, but it just doesn't add to family holiday experience.
