Great bed and shower. Clean room, tea and biscuits all excellent. Perfect location.
BUT i was woken at 4.40am by a very loud whistling sound in the wall. It lasted around 30 mins. I'm guessing it was the water pipes. No more sleep for me after that.

We had a great stay! I was worried when booking that noise might be an issue, but we had two nights of sound sleeping and no problems. Staff were very friendly and easy parking around the back of the building. Excellently located close to the beach and dining options. I would stay here again!

I stayed with my family where the room was comfortable and clean, the facilities were good and the location was strategic in the middle of the city so it was easy to find food and close to the beach just by walking.

The lady at the bar who gave us our keys, etc was very helpful and very nice. Having the restaurant delivering food which was great was also a bonus. Fantastic stay, thanks

The property was a bit on the dated side, and had a bit of a 1980s smell about the place. However, it was good value and in a terrific location in terms of being close to dining and drinking options in Wollongong. For an unfussed bloke staying alone it is a serviceable option.

Good value at the price. Well located with a variety of cafe’s & restaurants close by.
Not far to the beach
Free parking spot right outside.
Rooms are fairly small but clean & functional.

Be on notice that on Friday and Saturday night there is very loud party/dance music at night, as (to be fair) the rooms are above the pub. When I checked in on Wednesday I wondered why there was a bowl of packets of ear plugs in the hall…
perfectly fine and quiet on other nights. All good and comfy (basic) overall. Lots of dining options in walking distance. A dedicated parking lot which is a plus. And a good location.

The hotel charged me $200 security deposit in normal hotels your credit card details are taken as security but not charged unless required.My sister and I are both elderly and this payment was insulting and unacceptable.To date I have not been refunded.
