The hotel pool is well equipped with a BBQ facility, cooking equipment and seving plates, it was fantastic after been visiting the national parks near Katherine in warms days to return to the hotel have a swing in the pool and use the bbq for facilities to cook dinner instead of going out to a restaurant.

Relaxing stay in Katherine. Motel had all the necessary features. Pool was enjoyable albeit a little cool. Entry requires a code to enter on a keypad. A little tricky on arrival as we had not received an email re the code. Quickly resolved with a phone call to the contact mobile. Staff quite helpful.
Katherine has a number of features eg Nitmuluk Gorge, Hot springs, Top Didj that can fill a few days.

Price charged for stay did not reflect condition. Bathroom sink had a big crack in it, bed was rock hard. Inadequate parking.

Loved it. It is a late 70s property with original fittings, but is very clean.
To our delight a full breakfast was part of the deal and at night they make excellent pizzas that you can buy at eat by the pool. The manager was chatty, the staff happy and friendly.
Would happily stay again if ever going to Katherine.

Management were super lovely and very helpful recommending places to visit and eat at. Great atmosphere around the pool with margaritas and pizza. Great breakfast with hot and cold options. The motel is very central to everything and was an excellent base for travelling around the Katherine region.

We stayed on two occasions, a week apart. The room was large, very clean and had a long desk and a table with four chairs as well as the expected frig and hospitality tray, iron etc. Bathroom worked well. Air conditioning and blackout blinds were efficient. It’s a few blocks from the centre of town in very quiet surroundings.
There is a security fence around the motel, guests are emailed a gate access code to use if reception is closed on arrival. We were told that, if no parking space is available, to park on the grass in front of the motel.
Motel does offer breakfast for additional charge, we left early and did not sample it. The Katherine Country Club provides a courtesy bus Tuesday-Sunday nights, if they have a driver available.

The motel itself wasn't that bad although the Wi Fi left something a lot to be desired. There was no soap holder in the shower so no place to put the soap or your shampoo. The shower curtain rod fit loosely in the plug on one side so that if you even pushed slightly on the glass wall, the shower curtain fell down. Breakfast was mediocre for the price.
The town of Katherine was very disappointing due to high crime in the area and a security fence mentality that made one wonder if the town could see any growth at all. The sole attraction seems to be the Gorge which is 29 km out of town.
