The hotel is in an excellent location to explore the city! It is located minutes to Dundas Square and the Eatons Center. It is close to the subway with an easy connection to Union station. The hotel itself has exits onto Gerrard, Bay, and Elm St, so you don't need to go on Young St. if you don't need to. (Young St is busy and dirty!)
The area has a lot of nice small restaurants and breakfast places. I didn't need to visit any of the hotel's restaurants.
The hotel has an adult-only pool and fitness area. However, parts of these facilities feel too small - change rooms, pool, and hot tub. I suggest using these facilities outside of peak times.
My only other complaint is that the elevators are rather slow. If you are staying on the upper floors, expect a wait during the peak check-in and check-out times.

Travelled with hubby this is our second time at this hotel I like that it's close to everything from bars to restaurants, we stayed for two night for the New Years we enjoyed the pool and hot tub such a great location and the staff are amazing see you all on the next trip thank you

I didn't like being stopped in the lobby upon arrival to see if I was wearing their Chelsea Hotel bracelet.

The room is a little bit old but very clean and spacious. We upgraded our room so we can get a perfect view of the city of Toronto. Location is very near to almost everything. All the staff there are very kind and friendly. We really enjoy our stay there.

I can't sleep, very noisy from the street. You can hear everything. Even your neighbour talking you can hear them. My neighbour slap the door, I can also hear them. I even smell someone smoking and mariyuana. I have calling the reception desk but she told me that she is not sure can do anything, what ?? really ????? I am very concern about this hotel security, everybody can use the elevator up to our room, without key access. Very low security, not safe at all.
