It was so Smokey in the room because there is a fireplace. Me and my Fiancé both have asthma so it was uncomfortable at times to breathe.

They were immensely helpful and responsive. We felt very comfortable and the room was great. Kitchenette was very nice to reduce eating out. Hot tub was outstanding both with temp, access and view. Log fire was so cute and we made s’mores.

The hot tub was not hot at all. Pretty disappointing. The unit itself wasn’t as clean and there was hair in the bedsheet. Floors were dirty in the lodge.

Greeted by super friendly and amazing staff, given a complimentary bottle of nice wine, and a package of fire starter for the room’s real fire place. Staff was super helpful, showing me where there was chopped wood near my room & instructions for their wood fireplaces. This made the whole experience seem so authentic, and I would 12/10 recommend Hidden Ridge Resort - it’s “off the beaten Banff” but still super accessible to Banff town and surrounding areas - even with free transit passes from the hotel.
Thanks to the staff for making this such an amazing mountain stay:)

We were lead to believe that this was a resort and the rating was 8.6 - Excellent.
It is run down, not cleaned well, walls all black from smoke, could not see fire in fireplace as glass doors were black with soot. Tub black on bottom walls not clean, the smoke smell was so bad that we had a hard time sleeping and were all stuffed up. We were sadly disappointed as we love Banff, and this “resort” looks so nice from the outside.

Great hotel with amazing hot tub and views. Room could use a bit of updating but it was lovely to have a kitchenette. People above us were super loud, stomping or whatever they were doing. Was super happy to have my ear plugs. Overall would definitely stay here again just for the hot tub, sauna, and heated pool.
