Excellent service!! Great Location!! I booked this hotel for my parents, very close to US Consulate(like 5 mins walk), there’re plenty of restaurants, shopping centers nearby. Also very easy transport from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. You may take metro instead of taxi. Super convenient. Their staffs are very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

I would like to thanks Lina (Senior Sales Manager) for her warm welcome on the second day.
Overall, Ascott would be still one of the best places for business stays. This time round I’ve tried for leisure but it didn’t fail in terms of convenience.
Hotel was a little outdated as I believe they haven’t done a touch up in a long time, mini golf course wasn’t cared for, indoor swimming pool and gym an okay size. I could see some slightly warped tiles due to water in my room but nothing of great deal to me. TVs are kinda outdated but with a good range of channels.

CBD location, the best part of modern Guangzhou.
Nice facilities for family travelling.
One of the best department hardware.
But it took 15 mins for check in, 20 min for check out. Two reception staffs just kept busy for phone calls and conversations with others , leaving me confusion.
Kid's play room is big but pretty mess, toys and books scattered all around the floor.
Mini golf court has one golf ball only, a few damaged clubs.
Mini Cinema, well the projector need a new bulb, flicker when all the light's off.
After all, it's still a top 3 department in Guangzhou .

The location is convenient but it is not easy for a first time visitor to find. There’s no signage from the metro to the hotel and people do not seem to know when we asked.
My executive room is very nice, unfortunately I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Breakfast can be improved.

The smoke detector in the bed room keep flashing. Water drop sound from the bed room air conditioner. Taking shower in the bath tub will splash water out and the whole floor in the bathroom get wet. Besides that, the room is nice, good TV, beverages, etc. And very clean.

Great room with all the amenities. Pity I stayed only 1 night. Upon checking out, it was raining and i had asked receptionist how far to the metro. She said that the entrance was by the building with red wall which looked like 70+ metres away. As I did not have an umbrella she suggested that i take a taxi there.
I then found out from the doorman that the entrance to metro station was only across the road about 20m away. Didn't give me a good impression of that receptionist.
