Staff was vey nice and patient with other guests issues. Room and bathroom were very small, but its all we needed. Quiet neighborhood.

The staff was very friendly even when i forgot what number room i was in you wasn't allowed to take the key out with you so you had to hand it back in every time you wanted to go out apart from that i enjoyed my stay i have been to a lot of hotels in London over the past few months it was quiet for being in Kings Cross i will stay there again

Place seems rundown and the rooms are tiny but it was quiet in the area and I experienced no problems. Served the purpose of a place to sleep.

The location is amazing - super easy to get around, close to Kings Cross. The hotel wasn't very lux but with 2 stars I didn't expect it to be - it was sufficient. The main downside, and it was a big downside, was the noise. I've never stayed in a more noisy hotel - you could hear construction, doors shutting, people walking down the hall and boards creaking, people talking in the rooms next door, etc. It was awful and seemed to go on throughout much of the night, particularly on the weekend. I guess you get what you pay for.

Pretty good for the price! Very convenient for kings cross

The room was okay, and housekeeping cleans daily (some hotels stopped doing daily cleaning after the pandemic). My stay was quite long and I wished the room had more hooks or spots to hang things up in the bathroom or near the door. The wardrobe was my only option and when it rains in London, I don’t want to hang my coat up with my other dry clothing in the wardrobe. Other than that, I only wish the temperature could be controlled in the room. The radiator was on the whole time, walking into a boiling room was too much. We used the fan in the room constantly. Opening the window didn’t do much help. Staff was nice and helpful though. We experienced a power outage in our room that left one of the lights not working after it was back up a minute later. Told the staff in the morning leaving the room and once we came back it was already fixed.

Central and convenient location. Clean in general and friendly staff. In need of some redecoration. Room was facing a busy road and was noisy in the night. Mattress was beyond its lifetime.

Basic expensive for what you get my first and last time will stay

Convenient location and clean. However the walls between rooms are thin/badly insulated and traffic noise from what is a busy road made sleeping very disturbed.

In photos looks much better than the actual room. Hair on bed sheets, not very clean. Overall, decent price for London ,for a room for two, with bathroom, bargain.Does the job.

Check-in was efficient and welcoming. George was on reception and a really lovely guy, polite and courteous. Our room was a small twin room on the 3rd floor (there was a lift). Compact bathroom with shower and toilet. Kettle, hair dryer provided with sachets of tea and coffee. Flat screen TV with Freeview. Simple, clean, compact room, perfect to use as a base. 5 minute walk to Kings Cross and lovely pubs minutes away. Camden Market is a 35min walk. Will definitely stay again when back in London. Second visit here. Clean, comfortable and warm. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Near Kings Cross.

This wasn’t a proper room, there was no proper window, just a sealed up door directly onto the pavement with a radiator running in front. This was effectively part of the original hall of one of the converted houses. Road noise and conversations from the pedestrians who were actually only a metre or so from the bed made sleeping almost impossible.

The rooms are a little tired, but fully functional. If you have realistic expectations, it’s a great choice.

Tiniest room I ever stayed in. One bed, not a single chair or table, modest bathroom

Property very basic, but clean. Had all we needed and was nice and warm. Was fine for one night. Could have done with another pillow. Staff very helpful, and friendly. Unfortunately the lift was broken the weekend we visited but could go up to next floor and walk back down or straight up which wasn't too much of a problem, and the desk staff took up our luggage for us.

Basic. But comfortable

Only stayed for 1 night , absolute bargain , very basic but was clean and warm , would deffo stay again for the price
