Amazing experience.. Friendly and helpful

Could be a great place but under renovation (28/12/24). Looks like a long way to go. Room ok but slight musty smell. Bar area has just 4 hi-stool tables. Breakfast a little disorganised but 4 cruises outgoing. Arrived 9 pm’ish but still a handful of parking spaces available. Reception poor. Still did the job for one night pre-cruise.

Was not aware £15 for overnight car parking would be added to my bill...i assumed it was included in my 'package' Otherwise all very good

Polite staff for m checkin to Breakfast and Bar service . Although limited because of an ongoing refurb staff were spot on and polite and efficient.

The hotel was being refurbished. No facilities Bar sat 8 people and dining was very basic. Lift not working properly. Had no pre warning of refurbishment work and staff really didn’t care.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. In November 2024 it was still undergoing renovations which made it noisy during the day and much equipment and fences outside the building. The breakfast is good. Great for cruise ship passengers but don't try to walk to the dock, take a taxi.

Really enjoyed the restaurant, the fish and chips were great.. Hotel was clean and quiet and close to the port.

Property is currently under renovation which I wasnt told of at the time of booking. No disabled car spaces as these have neen fenced off. One lift out of 2 working so constant wait. If I'd have known the hotel was under construction I would not have booked. I have escalated this with Expedia and am currently waiting a resolution.

Can’t beat the location just adjacent to the cruise port and ferries. The convenience is unparalleled

Must admit I saw the hotels exterior and didn’t expect much but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were lovely, room was beautiful, bed super comfy and amenities all served their purpose perfectly. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel has got building work around the outside and the rooms are under renovation which i was not made aware before my trip. the room had been renovated but it was freezing due to the heating not working and everything down stairs locked tempory .

Hotel room etc was as advertised. Very pleased with room and great service from friendly staff. Good quality breakfast too.

The stay was due to ferry cancellation and after a fraught day! The ladies on reception were amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room spotless and the bed sooooo comfy

Staff were lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. We had a recently refurbished room, it looked lovely but bed uncomfortable and toilet didn’t always flush.

Great stay. Staff very helpful despite arriving early and no rooms available. Although construction ongoing, place was very clean.

There is construction going on at this property. The noise starts at 8AM.

Great service. The only reason they got a 4 was that they are in the middle of renovating.

We arrived from Canada at 10 AM. Guest services stated that although check in is at 3PM our room should be ready by 1PM. Checked in at 1PM not ready 1:30, 2 and 2:30 PM not ready. Other clients just arriving or were there after us, were presented with their room key. We got the manager involved and eventually gave us a room on the top floor. Hotel under renovations. Noise on roof unbearable. Complained and at 4PM noise stopped when the contractor’s day was over. Not a pleasant stay.

This property is undergoing renovations and as a result, it was quite noisy during the day. While it is very convenient to both the town and the cruise terminal, I would have appreciated some kind of discount because of the renovation work being done.
