Great spot close to train station

This room was nothing like the details online. The beds wouldn’t separate to two twin beds like the website showed because the room was too small. Broken ceiling tiles in the bathroom. Chipped paint coming off the walls. We left after one night because of the status of the room.

They put us in a basement room and the shower was soooooo small no one could fit in it. It was also so hot in the room and they provided electric fans like it was a dorm

A beautiful little hotel. Amazing attentive staff, fabulous continental breakfast and easy walking distance to maun road for shops, bars etc

I had to leave around midnight because I found what looked A LOT like bedbugs in my bed. The front desk was staff was understanding but management refused to authorize a refund. I don't recommend risking bedbugs despite the price and somewhat convenient location.

Nice independent hotel. 10 min walk from Paddington. Small, clean rooms. Small, slightly steep stairs.

Bed was comfortable, but the curtains didn't keep the morning light out of the room (luckily I had an eye mask for the 2nd morning) and the walls we super thin - I could easily hear the occupants of the next room talking and their alarm in the morning sounded like it was on my bedside table! Also no outlets or lamps on the bedside tables. Nonetheless, the hotel is in a great walkable area with lots of shops and places to eat nearby.

We stayed on the ground floor in a room with a double bed. It was very clean, quiet, close to the tube, Hyde Park, and restaurants. We didn't do breakfast.

Full of character. Bed was awesome. Friendly staff. Staff were very attentive. Will recommend!

I so wanted to give a good review but i just cant. Though well situated, this propertysmacks of owners not wanting to spend any money. From cracked and leaking ceiling, to cracked floor tiled, a tv the size of a postage stamp, a shower cubicle so small you better pray you dont drop the soap or you will have to step out and lean back in to pick it up…and no toilet brush!!! Property has two redeeming features… its proximity to 3 different train stations and Ms MK at reception who is a delight to deal with and a credit to the hotel

One night stay for a football match and an early train home. Ideal location 15 mins from Paddington station and close to Queensway tube. Single room, comfy bed and a nice size bathroom. Check in and out was quick and easy.

We were travelling with our daughter. As there were no single rooms listed as available, we booked and paid in advance for 2 twin rooms. We arrived to be informed one of the twins had been converted into 2 singles - which introduced the prospect of having paid for more than we were getting. It took some effort to address… The rooms were clean and functional if not frills e.g. art work. The area is sake, ok and walkable from Paddington. But there aren’t a lot of restaurants and shops.

Well to begin, we’re a family of 5 adults that booked 2 rooms and we all agreed that this was the worst hotel we have ever experienced. We are all avid travelers and have stayed in a variety of hotels (boutique types, luxury, B&B, etc) and this is by far the worst. We were treated poorly from the instant that we walked in and the ill -treatment continued until the day we checked out and by ALL staff members (they were all equally rude). It seemed like we were all a nuisance for them from the start and customers service is non existent at this place. The rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable, which is expected at this type of hotel, however, one of the rooms felt like a boiler room for some reason (even on cool 50s- 60 degree nights with the window open). We couldn’t figure out how the hallway was cooler than the room. The room also seemed to be an old storage room that was turned into a room. We asked to be moved and the staff very sternly said nothing else was available, and when I say sternly I mean condescending and dismissive. To be clear, we would have possibly been better off at a hostel. We hated the thought of going back to the hotel every night we were there! It’s a shame that this place left such a bad taste because it was the first stop of our family trip and it was extremely disappointing and disheartening to experience such discourtesy! We are a very friendly bunch who are easy going very understanding we don’t like be an inconvenience but this was dreadful

Nice room, hotel in a great, walkable and safe location.

This property was very good. It was in great shape for being so old. We had a good time here. No elevator so be prepared to walk up the steps.
