Rove Hotel London Paddington

Amazing stay. Room was in immaculate condition, all the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming

Room is small. Could hardly move with 2 people inside plus 2 suitcases. Very difficult to get right temperature with shower and water pressure was low. There was only one receptionist that had a smile others were sour face looking.

The staff was very kind, we were treated very well. Sidewalks outside were a bit dirty, but that is not anyone’s fault in the hotel.

I liked this place

We enjoyed every moment here! The property was clean and well maintained. The room was small, as was to be expected for the area. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for enjoying all of London with a less than 5 minute walk to Paddington Station and 10-15 minutes to Hyde Park. Will very likely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for eight nights at The Rove. Our room was conveniently located on the ground floor down a short hallway from the lobby. The room faced the back of the building with a large window looking out at a wall, which we didn't mind because there was no street noise. We could hear the underground trains go under the building, but they weren't loud enough to bother us. The room was larger than we thought it would be and had a convenient refrigerator and large tv. The only problem we had was the shower. It was very tight, especially with the large shampoo and shower gel bottles attached to the wall, and the water temperature would change to scalding hot once in a while. The location was excellent with nearby transport and many dining options. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located near to Paddington Station. Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early.

The room was tiny but ok Bed was comfortable Shower was so small Room not very clean Television did not work at all Front desk staff were nice which was best feature if this hotel

Room size, location, and overall staff services are good. The shower was a problem with the water don’t drain properly and we had to shower with our feet soaking in soapy water. This was not fixed during our 4 night stay. The remote control was not in the room and we had to tell the front desk staff to get us one.

Check in was terrible, gentleman who was working never made eye contact nor greeted us or smiled, he barely looked up. He had difficulty finding our reservation but was all prepared as he finally looked at the arrivals. Room was fine, housekeeping was good. Other staff always smiled and said hello if we passed by. Water pressure in shower could be improved. The only perk or facility we were informed of at check in was complimentary water from a dispenser in the lobby, wasn’t worth mentioning in my opinion.

Super convenient with the metro just a few minutes away and a lot of food around that area. Hotel is clean and new too

A room in the basement is noisy, the bathroom is small, the stuff is broken, the internet is weak, the services are zero, and the price is very expensive for the room.

very close paddington and eateries useful base

The Rove was close to the paddington train station and conveniently within walking distance to Hyde Park and many shops and restaurants or pubs. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There was even a lift in this hotel--not usual or expected!

The trains from Paddington go right under hotel! They are loud and run until midnight. The hotel has no lobby, not inexpensive, tiny rooms. Was very unhappy

First hotel on our 3 week trip across London, Paris, and Italy. Hotel staff was really great, super helpful and kind. Had some good chats and got good recommendations for local food. Leaving bags with reception both before and after we checked in/out was easy and made life a lot easier. The hotel is right over the Paddington train line, so every 10 minutes from 5:30am to 11:59pm the whole room shakes and rattles. Not a huge issue for us as we are deep sleepers and used to trains, but very unexpected. Overall happy with our stay,

Great proximity to Paddington, nicely updated, and very comfortable. If you’re on the ground floor, you can hear the train rumbling underneath… Was not a problem for us, but might be for others

The room at the basement level is next to a garbage dumping area, and the environment is terrible. I upgraded it to another room, but there is no chair ( not even a stool chair). I asked the staff several times before I finally got one.
