Despite being an old building it’s very decent and worth the spend when you get at a good price. Stay here for Business regularly. The only downside is guests have to pay £5 for each night for parking so if you are staying longer it will cost quite a lot.

A good location for a couple of days. A good sized room with a good range of room extras. Very helpful staff. I paid for breakfast on 2 days, however the service was slow & limited choices were available.

The pictures of the hotel is totally opposite of what it looks like. It's a reap off. The worst place i ever stayed in my life. The owners needs to seriously fix the place or charge £20 per night.

"Tired looking" building inside and out but quaint. I believe its an old, tranformed town hall, that shows its age on the inside. That being said the room was clean and adequate, and the staff was very nice. I wish there was a better system in getting your room cleaned. They dont have a sign you see at other hotels that say "do not disturb" on one side, and "service room" on the other. So you were left with the cleaning staff knocking on your door, different times every day, asking if you need anything. When they knocked we were either resting, or getting ready to leave, and we were told by the front desk, that they wont enter to clean your room if youre not there. Also, no safe for valuables in oir room.

Awful place to stay, service just as bad as the hotel.
Room wasn’t clean, pen marks on the sheets, hairs in the shower, marks all over the walls. Beds are hard, and we were given a ‘free upgrade’ but that then meant we were in a room which backed on to a huge pipe that I can only assume was the heating system. At 6am this started up and that was our wake up call as it made the most horrendous noise. Walls were paper thin and we could hear people in the corridors until late into the night.
We didn’t even bother staying for breakfast, but on checkout after waiting for a staff member to be found we did raise our issues. Only to be told we could expect a call in a couple of hours for a manager to discuss.
Of course no call.
We were also advised by the first member of staff to pay for parking in the morning, yet the next in the morning told us not to worry about paying, so really hope we don’t get a fine through the post but who knows.
Although this wasn’t a cheap stay, my advise would be pay the slightly higher price and stay elsewhere.

Extremely terrible experience started with a long wait till check in . I booked a large room but they placed me in another building saying all rooms are booked and we are sorry had someone check in after me but stayed in the main building. The second building turned out to be the staff building where i couldnt sleep from the staff speaking in hindi loudly and shouting at the corridor . Bathroom wasnot clean and the shower floor had a suspicious brown thing that i opted to wipe . Terrible customer service . Kindly review this property wouldnt pay 10 dollars for a room there

Beware of £5 parking charge which is not mentioned until you arrive. Room had tea and coffee but no milk or sugar. Toilet had continuously running water all night due to failed siphon seal. Quality control needs a rethink.

Suited our purpose lovely staff good breakfast at 12 pounds it should be. Air conditioning needed in all rooms we had 2 fans and it was like an oven! Bathroom bit grubby round the door. Comfy beds also.
