If you are looking for ‘impressive’ then stay here. From initial greet to departure the experIence was excellent. As an aside, if you have mobility challenges, a buggy is only a call away to get you from venue to accommodation.

Upon requestung late check out they told us it won't be any issue but to confirm with manager on the day of check out to see what time we could keep room until (need to be at airport at 6pm). On check out day, I asked them to confirm what time I can stay in the room until, I was told to pay $500 to pay till 5pm check out. Obviously some money was required for late check out, but $500 is ludicrous for up to 6 extra hours, particularly since we stay at Sofitel both times visiting Fiji & when travelling in Australia (including in the last 3 months). Plus, we would have also been buying food & beverages from the facility during this time (we spent $1500 AUD in food/Bev over the previous days at the hotel). Obviously, we declined to pay $500 and instead booked another hotel (Radisson Blu) for the 6 hours. We are quite disappointed in the handling of this issue and will reconsider where we arrange our future friend gatherings in Fiji.

Tha facility and staff were excellent and up to what I expect from Sofitel. However the food and beverage choices were not. Disappointed with dinner choices on the menus and breakfast was average.

If you stay on the mainland in Fiji, this is great because it is close to the airport and the marina. From the marina, we took two boat trips to other islands. One was the Whale Tail full day excursion which we highly recommend. Breakfast was included and outstanding. Food at the restaurant was outstanding. This is a family friendly hotel. If you are traveling for a romantic getaway, pay extra to stay in the all adult “beach club” side. Well worth it

The hotel was well presented in all areas. The staff were all fabulous and all so cheerful and friendly. The only downside was no playpark for my 2 year old who couldn't go to the kids club with me, only if accompanied by a nanny.

Our family of 5 loves it so much at Sofitel. The kids enjoyed the pool and adult loves spending time at beach side during the day. Location is convenient to get around. 7 days there was so memorable.

Friendliest most welcoming staff I have ever experienced

This was our second stay at the Sofitel and we loved it, the staff made us welcome from the time we arrived. Its a beautiful place

Incredible experience at this hotel from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hospitality and service was incredible, staff are incrediblely invested in making sure you feel at home and that you feel relaxed for your total stay. We stayed in the adult section and thar was incredible. Staff come around with wet towels, mocktails and water during the day, cabanas are free, bars by the pool are incredible. 11/10 trip. Thank you thank you thank you!! Will be returning lots of more friends and family to this resort only!!

So I had two really bad experiences at this hotel. There was this staff Ashika who works at Bazaar who started reprimanding another staff at the cash station when I told her I would be paying for the additional guest by card. She told the staff in front of my family not to just let pple in who are not booked through the app online. And she asked the staff to check thoroughly so I gave this Ashika a piece of my mind about how she should attend to these meetings in mornings briefing as opposed to when the customer is paying. She said she was sorry only because she understood her mistake but it shows the lack of training of floor staff by the hotel

Our room was advertised as Partial Sea View but it was very hard to actually see the sea. I hate dishonesty in descriptions. I have uploaded the photo and the water you can see (just) is the pool. Everything else about the room is fine, except that my wife found that the bed is hard. There is a good housekeeping turn-down and lots of good teas in the room but unfortunately, only instant coffee.

Hi Great and easy stay

A lovely property and an enjoyable stay. A bit more communication would be good as we weren’t sure of our room inclusions and missed out for the first few days. Every room had different inclusions so a bit confusing when talking to other people staying there.

First family trip with 6 month old baby, was greeted warmly and with great professionalism. Food was amazing and clean, had no gastro issues. The staff from groundskeepers to kitchen chefs loves children and often we see them taking our daughter away for a loving hug. It is true what they say about Fiji, it is your home away from home. Thank you Livai at lobby for greeting us and keeping us entertained, hope to see you and your team again shortly.
