Grand Hotel du Palais Royal

Wonderful experience at Hotel du Grand Palais. The moment we arrived we were offered champagne and other choices while we checked in. We were also upgraded to a suite. The service was flawless. Everyone was very polite and happy to help. The hotel is updated, clean and comfortable. The location is terrific.

Attentive staff and great location!

Located conveniently in the heart of Paris the hotel offers both comfort and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for leisure. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Their professionalism and friendliness set the tone for the rest of my stay. Check-in was efficient, and within minutes, our room was not available for early checking. The staff offered to hold it our luggage until the room was ready so we could visit the city. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed. The linens were clean and of high quality. The room was equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-refrigerator, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and decor was noticeable, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and courteous!!! Dining at the hotel's restaurant was an equally delightful experience. The food was prepared to perfection. Breakfast was not included in my stay, and the buffet featured a wide selection of fresh and delicious options each morning. The fitness center is very small but I was able to get in my workout. The last night was a crying baby in the next room 😊. Overall, Grand Hotel du Palais Royal provides superb accommodations and excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris and look forward to returning on my next trip. Merci Marsela

Excellent location less than a 3 minute walk to the Louvre and to subway which is very easy to use. Despite proximity to Louvre, quiet lot tucked into street and excellent staff

Beautiful hotel in a great location next to the Royal Palace and close to the Louvre, but still very quiet and secluded. We booked an executive room for 4 nights which was large with all amenities needed and a lovely view overlooking the Place de Valois. The breakfast was lovely and fresh with a great choice of products. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an exceptional experience, we would love to return. Highly recommend.

The check-in experience at this property was top notch. I originally booked another hotel, but after arriving realized it did not work for my family we decided to move. We called Hotel du Palais Royale to inquire about options to fit a family of 4 and ultimately booked their Eifel Tower Suite. We arrived at the hotel less than 30 minutes after booking and the amount of work they did to set-up for our arrival was astonishing. We arrived to two handwritten notes and multiple welcome amenities in our room. When we came back later in the day they had dropped off even more items for our kids (stuffed animals, a book, candy). Throughout our stay, everyone was very accommodating. The only negative was their bar service. We stopped for a drink at their bar on our last evening and it took over 20 minutes to get 4 drinks, even though the bar did not appear to be very busy.

I loved the location next to the Louvre Museum and all of the nearby shopping; however, the staff was not always friendly. The worst part is that you walk into the hotel and it's filled with perfume on every floor. I'd rather a clean smelling hotel with zero scents that a perfumed hotel. I gagged every time I walked in. It was just too much for me and my husband.

The hotel is in a great location, steps from the Louvre and Palais Royal. The rooms are good, and the staff and very friendly. I have only a few suggestions for improvement. The hotel air on the room floors is very fragrant. I suggest reducing the fragrance. Also, I ordered room service from the Cafe 52 in the hotel using the app, but it never arrived. I suggest checking the app for functionality. I wasn't charged, but a good hotel would have offered some form of compensation after informing them at check-out, not just the chocolate bar they gave me. Also, the cleaning staff left a vacuum outside my door on the third floor and a laundry cart around the corner. A minor detail, but these items should be tucked away. The VIP benefits are minimal - the only "real" benefit is a complimentary drink at the bar. Despite these hiccups, I would stay here again.
