Christina, the owner is the best host. She is very friendly, accomodating , informative & kind. Her place is convenient to places you need to go. There’s a lot of places to shop & dine. Daily room cleaning was done. I can highly recommend her place.

The staff is wonderful , they sure would be my main reason to stay again at Saint Marie .

Christina is such an amazing person.. she is full of energy, so helpful, cheerful and accomodating. Location of the hotel was perfect... literally 3 min walk to St Michael's gate. Without a doubt, i will recommend anyone to stay at San Marie.

Room is very clean as well as the rest of the areas of the hotel. Christina the owner is very nice who , make sure her guests are welcome and Marie who serves food during breakfast is very hardworking . One can notice how they love what they are doing making sure the guests are comfortable. It’s a 7 minute safe walk to the Basilica. Would highly recommend the St Marie Place to stay when visiting the grotto and Sanctuary of Our Lady.

Cristine takes care of everything we need including umbrellas because it was raining when we arrived. The road was closed going to the front of the hotel due to heavy rains which caused a flood and mud afterwards. A long time customer helped us bring our luggage thru the garden. Yes! That's how good Cristine is. Clients come back because she treats us like family. I would definitely recommend her to friends and we'll definitely stay again. Thanks Cristine! And thanks to our unnamed hero, didn't get his name yet but I learned he's from UK. More blessing!

The view from my window was incredibly! The hotel is 15minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the Grotto. Kristina at the front desk was super nice and helpful. One of the best Italian restaurants is next to the hotel :)

Staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location with a good parking lot for 10€ / night. For an older hotel, it is very clean and well maintained We enjoyed the ample common patio space for outdoor coffees / drinks.

My wife had an emengercy dueing the night. I asked the late night desk ckerk where is there a doctor or hospital emergency room where I coould take my wife. He kept rrsponding no doctor, no hospital. I kept telling him I needed to drive her to see a doctor. He kept saying no, not available. I finally dialed 911 and and a ambulnce came my our hotel room and drove us to a hospital in the next town over, about 20 minutes away.

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights in June 2024. The staff were great and very helpful. The location is superb and just a very short and easy walk to the Lourdes complex.

We loved our stay in beautiful Lourdes! This beautiful boutique hotel was lovely and the owner even lovelier - so helpful and friendly. This was a girls trip so our room was a triple and worked perfectly. It is situated a short walk to the Sanctuary of our Lady and just across the street runs a beautiful river.

Christina was the perfect host. I felt like family, not merely a hotel guest. There is not a more convenient hotel to the Lourdes Sanctuary. My room had an amazing view of the River Gave and of the steeple of the Basilica. I can highly recommend Hotel Saint Marie. Oh, and the parking is super convenient!

A stone's throw away from the sanctuary's St. Michael Gate (Porte St-Michel) and food options. Visited during the weekend of the International Military Pilgrimage, grateful that we are located on the quieter side of the sanctuary. Christina was a lovely host who always checked in on us when we crossed paths. The standing shower was a little challenging due to its design and there wasn't drainage in the dry area. Overall a lovely stay, will be back again!

Christine was an excellent and most personable host. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel was conveniently located a few steps from the Lourdes Sanctuary. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Lourdes.

I stayed at Hotel St Marie with my mother in early October. We visited Lourdes after Paris. It was my mother’s first trip to continental Europe and the first trip to Lourdes for both of us. I selected this hotel based on the amazing reviews, and they were accurate! This is the absolute perfect hotel for a visit to Lourdes. The location is absolutely wonderful—very easy walking distance to the Sanctuary, grotto, everything! It’s also romantically situated—look at the photos online. It’s spotlessly clean and quaint, and it feels classic and spiritual. Very clean and comfortable but not inappropriately swanky for the locale and purpose. Christine, the hostess/owner, is so amazingly warm and friendly. She takes pride in welcoming and helping others in this way and is a credit to the town. The breakfast each morning was prettily presented and delicious—a wonderful way to start the day. And I know this isn’t why you go to Lourdes, but the daily morning croissant is hands down the best croissant I have ever had in my life and I have spent a lot of time in France! My mother and I have such special memories of our time in Lourdes and the hospitality and atmosphere of this hotel and Christine were a special part of our experience.
