Limneon Resort & Spa

We loved everything about the hotel. It was truly a 5 star, luxury hotel. We booked a Seaview room - the room and bathroom were modern and luxurious with a rain shower , bathrobes, fluffy towels and everything you would expect. When we walked in, the lobby was grand, check-in was a breeze, and service was excellent. There is even a hair salon and separately a spa which was wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was nice with cabanas and lounge chairs. It’s on the seaside and an easy walk to restaurants and shops on the boardwalk. We absolutely loved it and would stay again !

It’s a basic hotel. Rooms are dated and the beds uncomfortable. The elevator was not working when we got there. Our room was ok.. booked waterview and we got a partial view. It’s quite far from the old town you need a car. Breakfast is great. The rooms are small they definitely do not fit 4 people and we had a junior suite.

The view, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. The spa pool lovely, massage was what I needed!

The hotel is well located at 10-15 min drive from Kastoria facing the lake. The photos were taken a while ago and the hotel could use some renovation and update. Bedding is ok but not great, room is spacious, there is no laundry facility, the inside pool does not open before 2pm and cost 10 euros per day. Overall good stay but was expecting better.

Great spa facility. Gym was wonderful. Staff amazing. Need better mattresses. Mattress movement disturbed partner. Even slight movements.

Very well run resort. Nicely landscaped but a bit remote from Kastoria for evening entertainment/dining.

Beautiful place

I’ve been to Kastoria several times. The Hotel and property are perfect- 5 stars - on par with the Hilton if from the USA - we had the largest room- bed was comfortable, room was extremely clean. The exercise facility had new equipment so my kids were happy!! The staff was professional and friendly If visiting I’d recommend this hotel.

Amazing lake view from the room / location is great and public areas of the hotel are as you'd expect. The gym was great too. Breakfast had many options, a little average on the quality side, but definitely edible overall. We felt the room was a little under par - no tea/coffee-making facility, shabby TV, not that we ever watch the TV, just looked a bit rubbish. The biggest issue was the mattress/bed - we like our sleep and although the bed wasn't uncomfortable, it felt way under what you'd expect from a 5* hotel, every slight movement either of us made would wake the other one up. Also, sitting up in bed moved the bed away from the wall. It didn't feel very solid - ikea springs to mind. We also thought the staff were a bit stingy behind the bar, we wanted a couple of large glasses to take up to the room one night, and they would only give us small tumblers saying we weren't allowed to have different glassware in the rooms. The staff were very helpful elsewhere though.

Lovely clean hotel on the beautiful lake. A certain male at the desk was very gruff and less than hospitable.

This hotel overlooks the lake of Kastoria and most amenities that a tourist wants; clean rooms, good restaurants, outdoor swimming pool, etc. While there is no 5 star hotel in this town, they do a very good job overall.

This stay was amazing and particular, staying for 10 days after so long not traveling. The staff is friendly and professional. Always listen Otto your need and care of you in any possible way. I ho to this hotel since 2013 and it feels like home. What else can I say? I will never change. It is my second home!

Positive: Great Location with straight view to the lake. Delicious breakfast - the apple pie is a masterpiece!! Big and comfortable bed. Polite and helpful staff. Negative: Poor sound proof. Especially the room door was too thin. Even the corridor light was coming in to the room.
