Overall the property is good, ambience. What bothered us is the service. We have specific food requirements and despite clear instructions, the In-room dinning served wrong food. They verbally apologised but did not offer any alternative. Next day morning while checkout the staff didn’t even bother to ask / say sorry. This is unlike Taj. We have seen that the hotel managements have unique ways of apologising to an upset guest. But here there was not even any intention. Felt sorry that it was a Tata Comoany.

It is one of the better hotels in the city, however it can be quite expensive. As a Taj property it does offer the excellent hospitality that you get at any Taj.
However as a hotel, it is a little underwhelming. Compared to other Taj hotels the decor is almost non existent in rooms so when you immediately walk into the room it does feel a little cheap. However the bed is comfortable and there is a pillow menu for you to get exactly what you need for a good nights sleep.

Right from the girl at reception who welcomed us gave us room keys( # 261) to Shekhar( Restaurant Manager- Sahib café), lady Chef at Roti section, the waitress, Housekeeping staff, Tall Security guard with Moustache and his colleagues, everyone were so welcoming, Helpful and sweet-natured that it became our home away from home.
I am an Ex-Oberoi, Ex-Hyatt and have always heard so much about Taj but never got chance to experience it. But, yesterday I realized that whatever I heard was so true.....
