Shower head the water is bot coming out from the hole, ceiling of bathroom is leaking, toilet roll is soaked with water, no topUp tea/cofee, no sandal room, bedsheet is dusty. But the staff is Friendly.

The room facilities are quite good, but unfortunately the hotel does not prepare breakfast and we have to order online, the environment is NOT pleasant.

Kamar lembab dan berbau apek. Karena dapat kamar yang menghadap void di tengah bangunan hotel, dimana sinar matahari terbatas. Bedding, sarung bantal, selimut kotor dan bau. Kemungkinan tidak pernah diganti. Air di toilet, wastafel dan shower kotor berwarna coklat. Kunci pintu yang seharusnya menggunakan card tidak berfungsi, sehingga harus menggunakan anak kunci.

The hotel is quite old. However, the room is still quite clean. The staff are friendly and provide good service.

- hot water in the shower didn't work, no follow up after calling to the front desk.- do not disturb sign switched on but staff kept knocking/ringing doorbell without stating their department or why they're outside the door.- no courtesy call before check out to check whether we were extending the stay or checking out. Staff knocked on the door repeatedly not saying anything or greeting at all.- floors not swept properly. Found an opened condom wrapping paper under the curtains on the first night.- wifi is very SLOW.- motorbike parking area behind the hotel, had to go through muddy asphalt and they didn't allow us to park nearer despite the parking area being completely empty.- impolite room attendant ringing the doorbell despite do not disturb sign switched on. Had to tell them we want cleaning at 3pm with their response being "we can clean at 3 but that is the latest because after that we will be going home"- bedsheets, pillowcases all had weird coloured stains.- curtains were ripped.- despite it being my birthday, having it mentioned on the date on my ID, nothing was done by staff (other hotels normally do the nicest gesture whether small or not)- no feedback was asked for at check out. No greeting, only deposit was returned and I left the hotel. Only good thing was the specious room, comfy bed and pillows and good air conditioning.

When I first arrived at the hotel, I was like. I hope I won't see any creepy things inside. The staff were OK. The location was quite strategic. The room was quite dark, it didn't feel like a warm-cozy-dark kind of room, it was creepy-dark. The bathroom was OK. There is something about this hotel. As it says, "Zia Boutique", you'll see some nice painters hanging on the wall. If you need to go to Batam and trying to find a hotel which is near to the airport, this hotel might be one of your go to hotel.
