Hotels near Ayam Goreng Kampoeng Sewu

The hotel is nicely located in the old part of Malang township. It is situated in a road curve surrounded by many dutch built houses which are generally well preserved. A short 10-minutes walk from the hotel will get you to a clean and well maintained Pasar (traditional market) Oro Oro Dowo. This part of township is also connected to each other by a network of calm and quiet city streets, thanks to lush shaded trees along the road, providing great comfort to pedestrian. Most trees are angsana (pterocarpus indicus), mahogany (swietenia macrophylla), kersen (muntingia calabura), and trembesi (albizia saman). This neighborhood really impressed us who are both keen hikers.

So happy living here for 3 days. first impression looks creepy because front of hotel but it gone when you see the room and the best service from their staff. Top hospitality, keep it up!

New hotel so very clean and at its shape. Really worth the money. Remarkable view from our bedroom at 16th floor as you can see in the photo. Will absolutely recommend it to friends and family if they visit Malang.

Stayed for 2 nights in this hostel, this place is perfect for backpackers who want to travel under a budget but still cover for comfy. The strategic location allowed me to explore around some destinations in Malang city, while enjoying some culinary not too far from the hostel. Staffs were very friendly, well, this is Java, everyone here is friendly! I stayed in female only room, the pods are decent, bed sheet and blanket are spotless clean. Shared bathroom was clean and looked well maintained. Hot water available 24/7 (i guess) and the water pressure is good too. There is a Fugu cafe downstairs where you can have a time for yourself, enjoy some coffee or other food and beverages. Get 20% discount just by showing your access card to the barista :) Overall, I had good memories staying in SO! Boutique hostel. Will definitely come back here if I have a chance to visit Malang again some day. Keep up the good work!

Ok, city center area. Close to the main city.

We had a very nice stay in the guesthouse. The owner can speak English. She is very helpful and accommodating. She recommended a restaurant/coffee shop where you can eat and drink. Also, she recommended some beautiful places to visit nearby with detailed instructions. The place is very relaxing. The room and toilet are clean with a hot/cold shower. Each area/level is provided with a place to dine in with a hot/cold water dispenser, cups and plates. I have forgotten to take some photos but what you see is what you get from the site posted. Clean and unique guesthouse. The location were strategic. The staff nice. Although the room not big but it has a spacious clean bathroom.
