I booked this hotel last minute for my family, the service is wonderful. Very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The most amazing is the breakfast, it got 5/6 type from Chinese, india, indonesia, American and etc. surely going back to stay in this hotel

Good location exactly above Paragon shopping mall. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast also perfect. And all staff are very friendly also helpful.

Wonderful experience but the parking lot is only valet if want to easy get out in front of lobby, it 's not free as well, the only free parking is on 6th floor of the mall.

The breakfast buffet is terrible. It may be because of the quality of hotel guests as well, but the glasses, plates and tables are not ready, or even if they are, they are dirty. If you go late, there is nothing to eat. Despite this situation, the staff is not working seriously.

OK for the price but needs a massive renovation, if want stay in the 5 star hotel business for longer. Seems this hotel is on a downward spiral since it left IHG group. Most wallpapers are broken and start falling off. Furnitures have sign 's of heavy use. Bathroom mirror is broken. Bathroom exhaust fan not working, ceiling full of black mold and bad smell. TV channel signal very bad. No smart TV. Smart TVs are the standard these days, specially in a 5 star Hotel. Can't see out from the window, because all windows are covered with sandblast film. Bad smell of old floor carpet 's. The sofa chair in the room has lot 's of stains. The leather of the office chair in the room is cut. It 's absolutely not OK when hotel stuff starts filming the guest during check-in for advertising or"proof that they are actually working"purposes without asking the guests if they agree to be filmed (it 's actually illegal in most countries). There are hotel employees at the breakfast buffet and restaurant which aggressively trying to persua guests to give a 5 star review on TripAdvisor while they watching you writing the review. The breakfast room needs a complete renovation, all furnitures are broken. The outside wood deck is closed because completely broken. Many improvised Buffet tables, which you would expect in a 2 star Hotel but certainly not in a 5 Star Hotel. There is plenty of food at the breakfast buffet but food of very low quality. All the ceilings in the public areas are broken do to water leakage. The floor in the gym is completely broken do to water damage. Bad smell in the gym, dirty equipment. There are hotel employees which quite aggressively trying to convince guests to give a 5 star review on TripAdvisor while they standing next to you and make sure you not write anything negative.

We had difficulty entering the hotel because the road was closed due to the carnival. There was no information from the hotel regarding this event and there was no help at all, no porters or security officers came to help carry our luggage when we had to park far from the hotel and walk carrying 2 children and 3 suitcases. It doesn't feel like the service of a five star hotel. The room interior renovation urgently needed.

Staff not friendly at all, I asked them to put my stuff in the room if the room ready but they didn't do that.

The hotel is in the city centre and one building with the mall in Semarang. It has been a pleasure to stay there with family. The staffs are very helpful and polite as well. It was pleasant to stay there.

Overall my experience with Hotel Po was good. The room was clean & cold. On the first day the water in the shower was small and the water was not hot. I complained that the hotel fixed it straight away. I also notice that 1 elevator (the middle one) didn't stay close and I had to press close 3 times before it really closed and moved. It will be great if the hotel keeps the maintenance and there are no small glitches.
