This hotel was so cute and location was awesome! The street has shopping and a short walk from the train station. Leonardo at the front desk amazing and helpful! The breakfast was great and staff was friendly. Our room had an open window to the front street and it was fun to open it and people watch. I would stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel with very attentive staff. My only complaint - the breakfast hostess was not very friendly and delighted in slamming every dish she could. Made breakfast less enjoyable. Really enjoyed afternoon tea and happy hour. Also, I appreciated Leonardo showing us to our room. Extra touches make this a a hotel that I would highly recommend.

Kudos to Angelo at the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful with getting us settled and our car valet parked after an exciting drive into the ZTL zone of Florence via the twisty roads from Siena. Would recommend the drive, but definitely not for the faint of heart. We stayed in an awesome suite with a private terrace. Easy walking distance to everything. Many very good restaurants all around. Not too expensive, we averaged about €100 for two people per evening meal, usually including a bottle of wine. Breakfast was very good, with custom made Espressos and Cappuccinos. Wine happy hour every evening.

This charming hotel is an easy walk to Uffizi and Pitti Palace, and Il Porcellino is 1/2 block away! The welcoming staff is what makes it wonderful.

The property is in a great location. Staff was super friendly & helpful. It’s a bit run down and could use an update and also there’s a lot of stairs to climb but the staff was of assistance to help with luggage

Staff was very, very accommodating. Room was good. Unexpected free happy hour every afternoon/evening. First 20 steps to the lobby and elevator are tough with luggage, but not bad once you are checked in. Would give it a 4.5/5 if I could.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and clean, and had every amenity, including a sound machine! The breakfast was delicious and the happy hour and tea time drinks and snacks were a delightful option to enjoy and to get to know the other guests. Location could not be beat - a few minutes walk to everything!

Room was nice and service was great right up to when we picked up our car from valet parking. When we handed keys over, car was undamaged. They left it on street where the mirror was smashed and then said it wasn’t their fault because it happened before they picked the car up to park it. They should have valeted it right away. It was their responsibility once we handed keys over. But they denied responsibility.

Staff was amazing! The property itself is old, holes in the wall, very dry air, walls that need more paint, etc. however it's in an old historic area so it matches. Overall the stay was fine, staff was the best part, and it was good enough for a good adventure base.

The best review for this property was the staff! They were very friendly and helpful. The other part, was the room that needs a renovation. I realize that it is a very old building, however, it’s not well maintained. At least a paint job at minimum is needed. The bed was comfortable, however, the photo on their website is misleading. The room is smaller than expected. Further, there is a stinch coming from the bathroom, however, it may be from an antiquated sewer system. The location was great, and easy walk to all key areas of Florence. Lastly, a very steep staircase awaits you to enter the hotel, I would not recommend this place if you have difficulty carrying up luggage to the elevator. I will not recommend this place, nor would I stay here again. In a positive note, the staff made it bearable.
