The hotel's location is fantastic for the price, especially with free parking included! The staff was equally impressive. The front desk attendant who checked me in was incredibly friendly and clearly enjoyed Universal Studios, making for an enjoyable conversation. Also, the woman at the quick-service cafe was very helpful, when they ran out of their usual breakfast bread, she quickly improvised with bagels to make sure I could still get a breakfast sandwich for both me and my wife. As for the downsides, the hallways could use some updating. While the lobby was nice, the tile ceilings and certain areas of the halls were starting to show their age. Also, the pillow-top beds weren’t the most comfortable. I don’t have any back issues, but I woke up each morning with discomfort in the center of my back, and I didn’t sleep well. Additionally, I could clearly hear my neighbors in the evening, likely because my room shared a connecting door. That being said, for the value, this hotel is definitely worth considering, especially if you're visiting Universal Studios!

I booked this hotel needing a 1 night stay after a long flight and ahead of meeting my family. From the first interaction to the last, the whole experience exceeded my expectations and made a 1 night stopover memorable. The staff was kind and helpful from the start of my day, storing my things for the day and when I came back later to check in and wait for my partner (ahead of check in time), John upgraded me to a suite! Unknown to him, it was a special weekend and I’m really grateful. The hotel is also an easy walk or shuttle to universal. The bed was comfy as well. Thank you John and Evelyn for absolutely making our day. You made the experience special.

Great Stay at Best Western Orlando Gateway! I had a fantastic stay at Best Western Orlando Gateway! The location was perfect—close to Universal Studios and other major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The hotel also offers a shuttle service, which was a great bonus. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff Luciana were friendly and helpful as always she’s terrific , always ready to assist with any requests. The pool and hot tub area were great for relaxing after a long day at the parks. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Orlando!

Great location and friendly service! This hotel is conveniently close to Universal Studios, which made getting to the parks super easy. The front desk staff was very welcoming, especially Ivo, who went above and beyond to accommodate our stay—his kindness and professionalism really stood out. The little store was convenient for grabbing snacks and the full-service restaurant with breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. Note: There is a daily fee for the buffet vouchers. That being said, the rooms could use some updates. There was visible wear and tear, the lamps were oddly mismatched (one didn’t even work), and the hallways felt a bit outdated. I feel like the bathroom and front door really stood out as needing some attention inside the room. While the stay was still comfortable, a refresh would make a big difference.

It's conveniently close to the Universal theme parks, making it easy for us to get to and from the parks without any hassle. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
