We stayed for 1 night in September 2019 and this hotel was beautiful, in stunning natural surroundings. The log cabin style bar is very cozy, and the hotel is in the middle of the shopping and restaurant district. We enjoyed the free parking and slept so well in the comfortable King bed.

The Grand Hotel Royal e Golf was wonderful. Staff was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. The spa facilities were awesome after a few days on the TMB. I had a massage that completely rejuvenated my legs for the rest of my hike. The location was great located centrally with many shops and restaurants to visit. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

I can’t say enough about how helpful staff were. What a great experience. Lovely hotel, great restaurant, excellent spa. Rooms are very roomy.

This FORMERLY grand hotel has not been kept up; many lights out and delaminating cheap flooring in the lobbies, awkward design from the '80's, spa facilities in a dingy basement remodeled decades ago. Must i say more? Oh yeah, they still charge top top dollar (just paid an average of over $400 nightly for five nights). The front desk staff is very good (especially Pamela). Housekeeping and bellman are disengaged and tired. Ugh! Really not worth your time or money as you will be disappointed.

Superb way to spend time in the Italian Alps. Hotel has a great breakfast, great service in the main lounge, and attentive and friendly staff. Outdoor pool and spa fabulous. Highly recommended.

Stayed here during the summer months on a drive through the region. Lovely hotel situated at the end of a busy shopping thoroughfare. I had a great view of the surrounding mountains from my room (see pic). Rooms were of a good standard but beware the lack of air conditioning, it can get very hot in the summer months, luckily there was a thunderstorm the night we arrived so the room was cool enough. Bathrooms well appointed with nice toiletries and the breakfast was good with a lot on offer cooked to order albeit at an extra charge. Would definitely stay again.

We are hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Two days before we arrived to Courmayeur, we saw a sign at our hotel, laundry 6 euros. Stupid us, we asked royal hotel to do our laundry. Imagine our surprise when the bill was 141 euros. warning: don't have them do your laundry.

We honestly didn't know what to expect at first when we pulled up. We walked in and immediately were greeted by several people and were offered immediate assistance with our luggage. Our room was not only quaint, but the view RIGHT to the mountains was absolutely stunning. We got a 1-hour massage and had one of the hands-down BEST dinners of our lives. The staff was SO courteous and made our experience one we will never forget. We will definitely be coming back!

Our group had 4 rooms at the Royal E Golf and were impressed. The rooms were a little dated in decor, but were an excellent size and the free wifi was faultless (one tap to join, no dropping out). Downstairs facilities were not dated at all, in fact the outdoor pool, steam room and other spa facilities were excellent, well above expectation, a real bonus. Friendly, efficient staff, great breakfast and superb location in town (try bar Roma about 4 doors up!). One word of advice, in peak season if you want a seat / table in the bar make sure you reserve in advance as they all get booked up. Overall, highly recommend it if the price suits (ours did).
