I absolutely loved my stay here. I’ve seen people complain you have to leave your key at the desk when you leave. For me it was one less thing to worry about. Someone is at the desk waiting to hand it back to you when you return.
I felt very safe and every staff member was very kind and professional. The air conditioning worked great. The room was clean. No complaints and will be returning soon.

Loved how close it was, to be able to walk to the Coliseum and Forum. Lots of dining options. Stag was so friendly and helpful! Room was comfortable and clean

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel
Our stay at this hotel was the worst travel experience we’ve ever had. The front desk staff was extremely rude, yelling at guests and interrogating us every time we left the building. They demanded we leave our key with them but refused responsibility for any belongings in the room, making us feel unsafe.
The room was far smaller than advertised, smelled strongly of garlic or onions, and had a leak on the floor (photos posted). We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we had to check out early. When we explained our decision to leave, the front desk staff shouted at us aggressively.
The unprofessionalism, poor accommodations, and hostile atmosphere ruined our stay. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The property is in the heart of the historic district. We could see the forum from our balcony. The rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel stall is amazing. They were always available, friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great location! We could go everywhere by walking except Vatican. It was about 20 euros via Uber to Vatican. It was about 50 mins walking distance. Other than that, we only walked. Great staff very clean and very helpful. If I could go back, I would definitely stay here again.

A small hotel, located in the perfect place to see Rome. Staff were friendly and my room was small but clean. Perfect for a short stay in this beautiful city. Highly recommended and i will come back and stay again

If I come back to Rome I will be staying here. PERFECT location. National guard stationed outside for safety. The best staff. Great room with a balcony. We loved the entire stay.

We loved the Hotel Romano. We had a beautiful view from our windows and the bed was very comfortable. Santo checked us in and he was so gracious and helpful . He showed us all the points of interest on a walking map & told us how long it would be take to get there. He also ordered a car to the airport for us. There was a cafe right in front of the hotel that was open all day and many dining options all around. The colosseum was a 3 minute walk. When we come back to Rome we will definitely stay here again.

Santos was so nice! We loved the quaintness of the hotel. It was clean. The welcome champagne was much appreciated. Excellent location. We will certainly be back when we have more than just one night to visit!
