Our experience as a couple staying for 8 nights in a room with a hot-tub on our terrace was amazing. We wanted to relax and unwind and La Plage made it happen. The location was ideal on the beautiful beach and just a short walk to the funivia to go up to the town. Our room was very comfortable with views out to the bay and the island. We enjoyed using our reserved beach setting each day. Breakfast was delicious each morning with variety in the pastries and fresh fruit on offer in addition to the hot food. The beach bar was great for cocktails and great music. The restaurant provided wonderful service in a relaxed atmosphere, and the food was fabulous!! They catered for food intolerance with wonderful grace and were proud to create a special sauce that was absolutely delicious!! Special thanks to the restaurant staff, to Alessandro Sebastiano and Sara who made breakfast such a pleasure each day, and to Roberta who was the first person to greet us and went out of her way to ensure our stay was superb! We had a very relaxing stay in a very beautiful setting supported by staff who were professional as well as friendly.

Amazing location, clean spacious rooms, staff are so courteous, friendly and really make the stay special. Buffet breakfast really good, free parking was a huge bonus.
Sunbed included for guests which is really necessary to enjoy the beach (typically 60-80euros for externals).
It is not super easy to get to the main town so need to take a taxi (20-25 euros) or cable car (10euros per person for return trip).

The hotel and staff were absolutely incredible. You’re literally a few steps from your room to isola bella and a comfortable beach chair at their beach club, the parking was super accessible, and you get greeted at the door with the most delicious glass of almond milk you’ll ever have in your life. Whenever I come to Taormina from now on, this is the place I will be staying. Grazie mille per tutto La plage

Lovely staff, amazing view from the restaurant, excellent location. Only stayed for the night in one of the small ‘cottages’ on-site so can’t speak for the facilities (apart from breakfast, which was decent). The room was very claustrophobic, incredibly cramped, with a window that looked out onto a dirty and peeling plaster wall and admitted hardly any daylight. The cottage was dingy and unloved, the small ‘garden’ unswept and grubby and pretty unpleasant. I dropped my towel on the bathroom floor and it came up filthy. Relieved we only stayed briefly for the one night tbh. Advertised (and charged) as five star, would say low four star at best. With the location and staff, could be wonderful with some $$ investment and a complete overhaul - but as it stands, difficult to recommend.

We checked in at one of the banglow suites which was very very small with a very bad smell but at 2 am they accommodate us to another banglow suite with no smell
And got better and nicer.
The view of the hotel is absolutely beautiful
And again the staff and colleagues are amazing

We LOVED everything about this property. It is stunning. Beachfront. Convenient. And the staff is the BEST. Everyone from the front desk to the beach club to the restaurant. So nice, fun, helpful, and a true pleasure. We stayed in a garden room which was a stand alone round structure. Perfectly appointed. Big bathroom, great linens and strong AC to keep it cool during hot days. The beach club was our favorite amenity. Not only is it beautiful, but lounge chairs and an umbrella and towels were included with your room. Which is great because they go for $100 euro to the public. The beach club staff was amazing as were the cocktails and lunches. The property is close enough by taxi ($20 euro) to either side of Taormina town center. We would absolutely stay at La Plage Resort again!

Fabulous stay in a fabulous area. The staff and especially Diego was able to accommodate us and find us dinner reservations and nightlife fun. That was far past our expectations. Can’t wait to visit Tammy again and stay at this resort.!

The staff was defenetly amazing!! They really do make an effort to make you feel at home. Special shout out to Chiara at the spa, Barbara at the beach bar, and Salvatore in reception. They really made us feel like a valued guest!

Amazing location with private beach facilities and beautiful surroundings. Great friendly service that goes above and beyond expectations, fantastic breakfast and bar. Easy walk to cable car for trips up to Taormina old town. The rooms are smallish and a touch dated but still very nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
