The hotel is nice but is on the norther outskirts of the town in a mainly residential area. I was looking forward to using the gym and sauna but the gym was poorly stocked and the sauna could only be used as part of a spa package minimum of €40 per time so that was a let down and not in the description. Breakfast was very good with a range of choices and the 6th floor pool was nice to have for a late afternoon chill out after touring in the day.

Nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. Great staff. WiFi is not good. I selected this hotel because it advertised high-speed internet which I needed for a business meeting. It was terrible- I could not open some necessary pages. I had Zoom with no camera to reduce bandwidth and the transmission was still “garbled” both ways.

Great staff and good room

The rooftop pool, restaurant and bar were welcoming and staff friendly. Great way to spend an afternoon/evening. Easy walk to Ortigia from hotel so it was convenient to leave our car at the hotel and visit Ortigia on foot.

Clean and tidy and affordable location. Don’t come prepared to be WOW’ed by friendly service though, 5/6 staff including the reception and bar came across as very abrupt and borderline rude.

The property is a little out of town but, there are buses you can catch and its only a 20min walk in. The pool was lovely and the bar staff were excellent! Great cocktails! Beds very comfortable.

Large comfortable room. Poor space around the pool. Expensive drinks. Poor breakfast. Good position but a bit out from the town.

Very good hotel: perfectly located, clean and safe. We enjoyed breakfasts on the roof top terrace.

Overall this is a great hotel, we really enjoyed being able to use the pool. It is about a 25 min walk to the square but it is downhill. I would stay here again.

Lovely staff, wide range for breakfast including Sicilian delicacies and a great rooftop pool and bar. Quite far out from Ortigia (30 minute walk).

The room was very noisy and felt old and in.need of refurbishment. Every sound from rooms above and on the same floor could be heard despite the room being advertised as soundproofed.

Our room had bedbugs and I was bitten about 50 times. It's ruined our vacation. We spent all day doing expensive laundry rather than enjoying Syracuse. The hotel offered to change rooms but no compensation for the cost of the laundry, suffering or lost time. I'm likely going to have scars from this. It's truly awful. AVOID Update: to rectify the situation they offered loyalty points for a future stay, which I refused. They gave me a refund of $115 instead, which was for 1 night, plus a couple of free meals at the hotel bar. Laundry cost 60E plus several hours in the heat. Not worth it.

Within easy walking distance to train station, historical ruins across the road and ortigia old town 15 minutes walk very quiet hotel and very helpful front desk staff

Great stay. Directly across the street from the archeological site and about a mile from the old section of Syracuse. The only thing it lacked was onsite, self-serve laundry facilities. Great roof top pool
