Everything about this hotel was amazing. From the staff at check in, housekeeping, lobby staff, etc we always had everything we needed. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond. The location was amazing and close to everything. We would highly recommend staying here!

Staff from Savoy Hotel made us feel ao much at home and everyone was so friendly and helpful that we extended our stay in Florence instead of going back to Rome city centre before flying home. Mr Ruggero Vannini (Head Concierge) was extremely helpful in ensuring our train tickets were swiftly booked. The restaurant staff were very attentive and we had some nice conversations with the staff there.
Florence is an excellent city and Hotel Savoy is the place to stay as it is so convenient to walk to the wonderful sights and sounds that this city offers.
We highly recommend!

The only bad part of our experience was when we checked in they told us there was free breakfast. So we ate breakfast all days. When we checked out we were charged 50 a person for breakfast because when you book with Expedia breakfast is not free. We were mortified spending hundreds of dollars for breakfast that was only so-so, when you can eat in Florence very inexpensively.

I could not recommend staying at Rocco Forte's Hotel Savoy in Florence more highly.
The hotel is perfectly located to explore all Florence to offer and the staff could not be more helpful. It is the first hotel in a long time, where I felt the staff were genuinely pleased to have us visit - it was just such a shame we weren't staying longer!
We were treated to a complimentary upgrade, which was delightful. The food in Irene (the hotel restaurant) for breakfast and lunch was brilliant, as was the service.
The Concierge was amazing - organising a fantastic dinner reservation and arranging speedy entry to the Uffizzi.
We were so impressed, with the Rocco Forte service we couldn't wait to arrive in Rome where we were staying at Hotel De Russie - another Rocco Forte, which didn't disappoint either.
We will definitely be back!
