Soperga Hotel

I booked this hotel for my friend, she was visiting Milan for the first time. The hotel staff at reception were rude, as during checkin we only had electronic copies of the id, they denied entry, it was close to 9:30pm and there were no places she could go back to, no trains back to Padua at that time. Hotel staff advised her to go to police station, she took a cab and went there, the address hotel receptionist gave for the police station was closed. My friend was stranded. She had soft copy of her identification and hardcopy of her student card. Hotel staff said she could they could not accept it. This is ridiculous as this should have been advised when booking the hotel. I reached to the hotel to look at alternatives, they haven't replied yet. Service too bad. She was not able to stay at the hotel. The whole situation was traumatic and it was her first time in Milan and she had to stay at the train station till early morning with a sprained ankle, nothing to eat and cold. The way hotel staff told her, i was on call with her, the receptionist was rude and gave her incorrect information which made her vulnerable as well. This is not expected of a hotel whose rating is at least 5 star. No one should go through this and they should offer some alternatives and resolutions to people who are travelling to the city and their business to stay.

Great location close to central train station, elevator is tiny. They do not provide a hot water kettle in the room if you want tea. Very simple hotel that does the job for you.

The best wasnt as firm as i like my matress and yhe walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor and their kids most of the night. Staff was great.

The hotel looks nice, but I found dirty towels in the bathroom, a long hair was stuck to it and my partner found a hair or the drawer next to the bed!!! Also they charged us €5 for a pair for slippers!

Wonderful stay for two nights near Central station. Small room but well appointed and nice bedding. Quaint lobby with lounge and breakfast. Few decent restaurants nearby but “Dinky’s” was recommended and was excellent. Nice little mini store “Aperto” nearby for snacks and provisions. Cheap. Overall……great value for money stay in the terminal area. recommenced!

Staff are great and hotel is well worth a visit, 5 min walk to station and great restaurants near by.

Transportation, easy 10 minutes away, walking from Milano Central hotel clean and staff very helpful and kind

Only real issue was the AC first room it was very warm and did not cool down. I complained and they said they were full for the night. It maybe tomorrow could get another room, I looked online and they still had rooms that you could book but by then I was too tired to complain again so gave up. They did move my room the next day it was a little better but I think the AC just doesn’t work well in general. The lobby felt very good temp but rooms did not

All good for tourists. Not good for business travelers. They don’t offer amenities like Iron and Table. If you are good with no Iron you are good to go

It is a beautiful hotel. The downside is the A/C barely works despite the ultra modern amenities of the hotel. Also, room 204 (superior room) that we were originally in was right below the dining area/restaurant and was VERY noisy. Lastly, we came for a cycling holiday, but the drive to the hotel is not paved and very steep so we had to go down the hill by car to start a ride.
