I’m a regular visitor to Aomori. This is the first time at this hotel. There is on site parking but limited due to it’s also used for non hotel guests. I parked at the alternate parking lot (indoor) which is 2 minutes walk away. It was a comfortable sleep and breakfast was good. I will definitely come again.

Our room had a great view of heavy snow falling on the street below, it was so peaceful with hardly any foot or car traffic. Fat snowflakes drifted outside the window in the breakfast room, a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious by Japanese standards and had a Queen size bed! The breakfast was a lovely mix of Japanese and Western offerings.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staffs. Despite of massy rebooking and cancellation, they very patient and extremely polite in sorting things out. Excellent service.

The Hotel was good, the room.we had was very spacious. All the rooms have an air purifier/humidifier which I highly recommend using. The buffet breakfast was good and there was an explanation about the traditional breakfast. Staff were helpful and they had all the bathroom amenities availability and each floor had a drink dispenser of hot and cold beverages. Also, they had a coin operated laundry facility. I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend getting an international driver's license, so you can freely travel the surrounding areas. We were limited to using the trains. They had limited services and you had to carefully organize to connect to other trains.

We stayed several days at this hotel, and were extremely satisfied. Service was impeccable and friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping staff. Room was spotless and quiet (and with a nice view). Breakfast was excellent and varied. Location is convenient to local buses (which take you to most places you would want to go, including the station and Shin-Aomori). You can also walk in less than 15 minutes to the train station / port / tourist area. There are a bakery and convenience store in the building itself, and several dining options within a five minute walk. Thank you to all the staff, especially the front desk, for your kindness, professionalism, and warm service (and for the famous Aomori apple at check in!)

I enjoy my two stays. The front desk employees were polite, extremely helpful and very nice people. I love the fact that the stressed upfront that there were amenities. I would stay there again when I visit Aomori, Japan in the future.

The room was very big and the bathroom was also large. I liked the most that the bathroom was unit bath but the bathtub was longer size so that i could stretch my legs. Amenities were also very good. My favorite were facepack and bath salt cube. Thanks for the kind staffs. I got a higher floor when i requested. Very nice view of Iwaki mountain!

The property is a stone’s throw away from local delicacies, restaurants and even bars. Lawson is within the same building and Family Mart right across the intercross section. The bus stop across the road provides easy access to and fro Aomori airport.

The Richmond always meets expectations and the Aomori branch does not disappoint. The hotel is located within a mile from the Aomori train station, making it a nice walk or a very cheap taxi ride if you have luggage. The shopping arcade is within this walking distance, so there is no shortage of things to see and shop for after you check in. The room was clean and spacious(especially the bathroom), easily fitting two with 2 big suitcases. The Richmond is famous in our minds for the reasonably priced breakfast buffet which we took advantage of every day of our stay. We actually missed our first day due to a flight change, and although we missed out on a last minute refund, the front desk had chocolate and cookie omiyage as consolation for both me and my wife. The Richmond will always be one of the top places for us to stay anywhere in Japan.

Very pleasant stay. The amenities and service were good. The free apple juice from the drink machine on our floor was nice. The restaurants, bakery, cafe, and Lawson downstairs were very convenient. Had a slight technology issue with the self check-in/payment which required some quick re-programming with the card.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Don't expect any follow-up if you ask questions to the staff from abroad.
