Good location, nice food, but very bad service. We stayed for 2 nights and we can't speak Japanese. The Nepal staff serving us during breakfast was very impolite. We started breakfast at 8:30, but he came into the cabin at 9:25 with very rude manners to remind the close time of restaurant. Just one word " time" and walked out!!! We were feeling that we were expelled! Please well educate your staff. Otherwise, the reputation of hotel will be ruined.

The location is 6/5. Best location you could have. The service was quick, friendly and professional. The room was fairly spacious but a bit on the older side. Good overall though and comfortable to stay in. The onsen itself was very nice visually but had low selection of temperatures and wasn't "ergonomic" or comfortable to sit and relax in. It was a very good experience culturally and for photos, so I'd recommend going for a night for sure. But otherwise enjoy doing a day visit to a bathhouse or other onsen.

This is the first ryokan experience for me, so this review may be useful to first-timers. The onsen facilities are great, especially the open air bath. We also got a room with an indoor onsen, which was very convenient with a nice view. The rooms may be considered a little aged, but I liked the homely feel to it. The location is also amazing, as it is near all the shops and restaurants. I booked several months early, so the price per night was fine, considering that the package also offer breakfast and dinner. The staff are very helpful and friendly, but please note that they speak very limited English. Be prepared to know at least basic Japanese and onsen etiquette, so that your experience is not only more enjoyable, but also gives the staff an easier time.

5 mins walk from the Atami station. Although the hardware is a bit old fashioned compare with the resort in Lake Kawaguchiko area but the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Some rooms for improvement that the water pressure on 6/f is so weak and cold and I decided to take to shower on the first floor. Great Fish for Breakfast and Dinner. Excellent service!

My family and I love staying at this hotel. It’s our favourite onsen place to visit. Food is amazing and the cold beers and drinks on the private bath are truly a lovely gesture. Great location too and super friendly and helpful staff.
