Great hostel! Room was quite spacious and everything was kept quite clean. The communnal fridge is quite small and there is only a microwave for cooking. The hostel only takes payment in cash. I missed that memo but the staff were very helpful in pointing me to a nearby atm. There is no in house laundry but there is a self serve laundromat within easy walking distance.

So the contact number on hotels is for a different place I struggled to find it as all the pictures are outdated. Was walking up and down the street trying to find it sat nav saying I was there couldn’t find it so thought to ring the number, the bloke in the number told me the actual address I went there bare in mind it was a 30 minute walk from where I was meant to be staying then as I turned up told me it was wrong hotel. So that didn’t start the trip off well so be careful with that one As I walked into the hostel it was very outdated. There was atmosphere considering it was meant to be a youth hostel When I finally got to my room the room was very over crowded 12 people sharing one bathroom was not pleasant at all. The room felt like a prison. The view from window was just into the roof top. The room wasn’t the cleanest not sure if that was the people staying or the hostel fault. Despite all this it was cheap and fit for purpose to save money the WiFi was amazing very fast This hostel has huge potential as it’s in such a good location If they had lockers in the room instead of trying to fit as many people in the room as possible and have a welcoming lounge area maybe swap the huge dinning table for a pool table and charge but extra for room would be good idea Overall I would book here again if I needed a very cheap hostel in central Amsterdam and didn’t care about the conditions

I am beyond enraged with the customer service due to the lack of compassion and reason. I booked a reservation on Monday June 10, 2hrs later I called to cancel because my plans with my group tour cancelled. Amsterdam was a pre-trip, but since the trip was cancelled I wasn’t going in that area. I spoke with someone late at night, they said they could t access the system. I then called first thing in the morning and buddy was contacting his colleague and was working through it. Because of these calls and no response from your team to speak to a manage I also incurred a long-distance chargers. I am upset with your hostel because your empathy, after calling 2hrs of booking and the next day, is just that hostile. I will not recommend you to anyone.

They have BED BUGS!! I have pictures of getting bit multiple times on my arm, back, leg & feet. I also took videos of the bed bugs when they woke me up at 3am.

Hello. I am still waiting for my refund. I traveled a great distance and expensive Uber to come to your hostel and once I arrived the gentleman said I was too old so I had to pay again for an Uber to take me somewhere else. Very dirty and noisy

We had a few bad roommates. They ruined the experience for us. There was a fight for the window open/closed all night, a creepy man with no teeth who kept offering hard drugs all day and night, and a guy playing full volume tik tok all afternoon and again at 6am. The location was good but don't plan on sleeping.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. DO NOT give any business to these a-holes. I’ve never stayed anywhere worse in Amsterdam. I had decided to not stay and they would not refund the 130€ which is absurd. No wonder they only accept cash because they know I would get the money back on a credit card. The rooms smell, the place is dirty, no elevator, no lockers, and they make you pay for a towel when you’re paying €130 to be in a room with 6 people. Ridiculous.

The sleeping beds are very, very uncomfortable. No sitting possibility in the room.

Good just a bit annoying how much the deposit costs for one night pay ill price and for keys ends up paying twice for each night

The hostel is way too expensive for a single bed in 10 person dormitory. It is in middle of the night street so the major problem is the noise in the night (it goes till 5am in the morning) and you will not get proper sleep. There was some kind of pungent smell with the blankets too. But, apparently, the bathroom and toilet were good and clean. The location is ideal. But, the cost is too high and they just provide toast in the name of breakfast. Overall, the place is not worth the price.
