Outstanding location opposite the lake and close to all amenities and sites. Excellent Kiwi Bach - multiple rooms, great bedding (very warm, electric blankets also included), kitchen well stocked with equipment. Wifi isn’t fantastic, quite patchy however, you have a beautiful lake to look out on and enjoy the surrounds so put the phone down!! Can walk to the Tekapo Springs down the road.

Amazing view from our cabin. Kids loved the wildlife at the front door. Lovely little spot.

It was a nice place to stay with family.

The staff weren’t welcoming at all. We reached late on a rainy day, were not sure how to enter the premises, nobody picked up the phone. The property management were not in communication really. I picked up the key envelope from the reception. The property is nice and clean overall with all amenities.

Small cabin, not enough kitchen area for the amount of guests. Location was pretty.

Enjoyed our stay at the Family house room that had 3 bedroom and will definitely stay again here during my next visit to Lake Tekapo

Location was great being a 2 minute walk to the lakeside/swimming. However, as local NZ'ers, we felt it was overpriced given other properties we have been staying at (for similar prices) during our South Island road trip. The pricing was definitely geared to international travellers!

Was a nice stay. Cabins were nice, great area of town with a ton of walking areas.

We had a decent stay here. I thought the photos from the room of being near the lake meant we were actually closer to the lake (i.e. truly at the edge). Instead the space between the patio and the lake pictured is actually a driveway for the other vehicles and RV's- so its not as peaceful as expected from the photo. In addition, we were in room 6 of the motel, which happens to be next to the laundry room, so we did have noise from people using the laundry room. Otherwise a good stay, just a few unexpected things.

Clean, comfortable stay. Gorgeous view. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is our place to stay every time we go to Lake Tekapō. Right by the lake, walking distance to the hot springs and Mt John. The cabin we stayed had everything we needed to cook our own meals and stay comfortably with two young children and two elderly adults, as well as myself and my husband Will definitely stay again next time we are in Tekapo

The room was average and wifi was poor

We got a great room with a direct view of the lake which made all the difference

Lots of construction near by. Looked like a war zone. Gave it a pass and picked something else despite getting no refund
