Spectacular ocean view in a very well appointed room, with nice kitchen, ample living space and a nice bedroom and bathroom. Air conditioning was exceptional and very nice big screen TV. Host Roland is a class-act. Very helpful, communicative and accommodating. It is clear that her wants his guests to have a great vacation.

It was a decent stay but i heard rodents in the soffit of the ceiling running around often. The pool area is nice. The building has floods often but they clean up everyday.

It was perfect. We stayed for 4 nights wish we could have stayed longer.

Property as expected. Everyone enjoyed the stay although mine was shorter because of flight delays. Property for me was just a little difficult to get to but only because of current road construction going on. I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to entertain larger group. 2 good sized rooms and 2 restrooms a plus for any family or group of people enjoying vacation. Thanks again Roland. FALSE ADVERTISING 1. The first picture of the pool overlooking the ocean is actually…not the hotel’s pool but the resort next door, and you need to pay P850 per person per day to access. 2. There is only ONE sun-bed for the whole pool area. We ended up not going there a single time. 3. We booked a room with 3 separate beds including 2 sofa beds. One of them was a super small and cheap foam sofa which we could not use. Turned out we had to pay extra to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment (although it says on the website that they only have 2 bedroom apartments). 4. They advertise 3 restaurants on site, but there is no restaurant at all. You have to go to the resort next door if you want to eat. 5. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel. The whole area is full of detritus, rubbish and poverty, you basically stay next to a shanty town. You cannot walk around and need to use Grab to go anywhere. DO NOT STAY THERE.

It’s a nice old hotel. We knew there would likely be some bugs as it’s hard to avoid in the area. So we expected some bugs and were not surprised. The airport pick up was a really nice perk. The hotel has a few tours available for booking which is also very nice if available. It’s first come first serve. We booked the whale shark/waterfall tour on the first available date. Whale sharks were amazing! Waterfalls were dried up at this time but we were not informed of this until we had finished the whale shark adventure. We went to see monkeys instead which was alright. Pool is nice, we found it refreshing. There’s no restaurant, bar or cafe onsite. GRAB came in very handy for everything else. Also, there are 2 very nice hotels nearby with restaurants/cafes.

Love the ocean view from our bed room and lounge room balconies .Roland is an excellent host and communicator. Will definitely stay here again

Fantastic view from room of ocean and surround area. Easy parking on site. Great condo with good quality decor and furnishings, kitchen is nice with all needed items, nice TV's with Netflix.. high speed wifi. Everything worked and owner was very helpful and good communications. Overall an excellent choice. We will be back again.

Great place and great host. Amazing place near a port where you can hop to other islands. Also free pick up from airport. nice kitchen and two rooms and good balcony. There are two pools. one for children and a huge one for adults. You can also use the facilities (pool, restaurants, area) or a nearby resort for a small fee and the food is discounted at a 50%. The area is safe and a walking distance to Mactan New Town where restaurants are located and where you are connected to the Cebu city via Jeeps and taxis. Above all amazing and wonderful host who is available to help and guide anytime!

I would rate this property 2.5 stars. The main building is in need of some repairs, but nothing detrimental or unsafe. The 2 pools on the property are nice. You have access to 3 other pools at another resort withing walking distance for a small fee per person. The compound has 2 restaurants with decent food. After 8 days of eating at both places off and on, the menu options did get tiring. Our condo room was privately owned, and not maintained by La Mirada. The condo was decent and updated. There was an issue with cockroaches in our room throughout the whole stay, especially the first night. I'm not sure how long the room had been vacant previous to our arrival, but that really killed our satisfaction in our stay. The roaches were mainly in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a shame, because the kitchen was nice and stocked with cooking equipment and utensils to cook your own food with. Due the cockroaches, other small bugs, and constantly spraying bug killer spray to kill them, we felt it was unsanitary to cook food in the kitchen, which was one of the main reasons we booked that room. It was very common to see cockroaches in the supermarket in the nearby Mactan Newtown, which is close to the resort, so I'm thinking the bugs and cockroaches thrive in the climate and area. The beds were quite hard, but due to our daily activities and touring the islands, we were too tired at the end of the day to care. If not for the roaches, we would probably stay again.

A very excellent condo accommodation. You enjoy in addtion the facilities of the hotel - Sito Grande next door and a beach club - Vista Mare. Ronald the owner is a 1st class host, he ensures you get a 50% discount on food consumed in a fine restaurant, part of Vista Mare Beach Club facilities. 2 swimming pools to use, one facing the seas and beach. A beach is part of the Club is at your disposal to sunbath or swim. All facilities in the condo and rooms are par excellence. You wake up to the sunrise from your bed with full 180-degree seas view. Evenings a display of stars and lights of the seas, and WOW.

We got what we expected - a three star experience. Great to have a kitchen and the option to use the facilities of the resort next door
