We unfortunately would not recommend this place. It is very outdated. The beds are also rock hard. The indoor pool closed at 6pm which we thought was very early and we weren’t able to use it because it was full of children the whole time. The jacuzzi was a warm, tiny tub that is also from the 60s or 70s. It only fits 2 adults comfortably. If you wanted to use the sauna then it was 8euros per person which seems extremely pricey for that. This place just really needs an update. This was not worth it at all for the price. One night was enough. We were in the second building/ block so maybe the other buildings are more up to date but the 3rd also looked the same with the pool and gym. Pros: I’m sure it’s better in the summer with the nice outdoor pools and mini golf. Not a good winter place. We also didn’t love Albufeira because it all seemed like this unfortunately.

Stayed here between Xmas and New Year. The rooms were a little tired in places, but nothing that impacted our stay and was expected in that budget range. The kitchen had everything we needed and we mostly self catered. Showers were set a little high on the wall to get a good stream and difficult to get the right temperature and the bath was only really suitable for small children as it was quite narrow, not big enough for an adult to have a soak, but again not a problem really. It is quite out of the way in quite a hilly location, so unless you are reasonably fit, this wouldn't be the place for you. There was, however, a bus stop about a 10 mins walk away at the bottom of the big hill, which was just over 2 euros per person into either the New or Old Town. It was great to have an indoor pool that was heated for the one day that was a little overcast, and the outdoor pool looked good, although we didn't use it. There was also a pool table in our lobby, which is something my son always looks for and a crazy golf course for something else for the kids to do. Due to the time of year there was no catering onsite, no bar and no entertainment, but again not really a problem for us as the kids and I were happy to play board games in the evening, although my husband did venture out to try some the the nearby bars of which there were a few. Daytime staff were lovely although there was a bit of a language barrier with the night time staff (an us problem not theirs) which meant that when the fire alarms when off a couple of times in the wee small hours it was difficult to feel reassured that there wasn't anything to be concerned about. It seems that they believed it to be a visitor smoking in the rooms rather than any equipment failure. There is a single no smoking sign on the entrance door to the apartments, so maybe it would be an idea to have a few more of those at strategic places inside the apartment as well. Overall we had a good time and would consider staying here again.

Put us on a ground floor, and we had to pay double to be moved up for the exact same room. They blamed love holidays but tbh they were great, and paid for the upgrade. Got locked out almost nightly, and a grumpy man came and blamed all the 10 guests waiting outside. We stayed 6 nights out of the 14 booked and moved on. It wasn't safe, door unlocked in a night because of the access issues, reception guy was a misery, we don't mind cheap and basic, but rude and arrogant are another thing.

Christmas 2023 was really nice here! Highly reccomend but make sure to get a room that has a high elevation to get breathtaking views

Family break, the suite was exceptional, very spacious amazing views and good facilities. The children enjoyed the indoor pool every day. We would definitely stay again. This was a quick getaway so we weren't expecting much given some of the reviews but we were very pleasantly suprised. There was a lot of maintenance work around the premises but this did not inconvenience us in any way. Nice to see that things were being looked after.
