We (me, partner, and 1.5 year old daughter) stayed here in the first week of October 2024 and had a lovely time. The staff were great, and made the whole experience easy and relaxing. The hotel is really well equipped with a good pool, including separate children’s pool, restaurant and bar. The beach is very easy to access and was fairly quiet next to the hotel, with no issues getting space. There are limited options for families with older children, however for us with a small child it was perfect. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Had a nice holiday at dunamar. Flew with jet 2 so transfers were nice and easy. Only knocked a star due to the beds being uncomfortable and the room was quite noisy so hard to sleep at times. Lovely location, only downside is there isn’t a huge amount to do in the area so would recommend car hire if you like to sight see. If you just want a beach holiday to sunbathe, chill and drink/eat it’s 10/10.

For starters I never like to write reviews but I just had to. I Booked this hotel for a little getaway with my friend, when we arrived the reception staff were quite nice but the restaurant staff was just pure rude, not a smile in sight when smiling at them, we waited to tell them our room to go and eat at tea time and 2 staff members near the set restaurant was just staring at us which made us both uncomfortable, the staff kinda just hover over you making you feel very unwelcome, the food I’m not gunna lie wasn’t nice at all, so we just ate out most nights as it was hard to stomach, the food looks like it’s been left out all evening, there’s no signs to what the food actually is so if you have any allergies I really don’t recommend as what looked like onions rings was actually calamari. Our last night when we fished eating 2 male staff members just stared at us the entire time laughing and talking to each other. We just upped and left back to our room. The rooms The rooms are nice however they’re quite unclean, there was hairs stuck to the wall near the doors when we walked in, there was hairs in the shower, on the toilet floor and in the sink and under the sink, there’s stains all over the furniture, I have personally stayed in 2* hotels better than this. I would say the location is nice if you like it quiet and love seafood as every place around the beach front is mainly seafood

The hotel has a tendency to nickel and dime. If you want to use the room safe there is a daily cost. If you want to use the spa / sauna... Additional cost. The rooms are clean, however we booked a double bed and got 2 singles slid together with separate sheets. The apartments are spacious, but the rooms are tired, with cracks showing (literally). Bathroom fixtures have seen better days, and using shower and bath fittings in a shower (that seems frozen in the bath position??). Reception staff were apologetic but their hands are tied. Also .... Booking instructions got lost.

4.5 First time visited Portugal with young kids. Booked through Jet2 based on the photos and reviews. Love it. I think of migranting to Portugal at the moment.😅
