Can I rate it more than 5 stars? I wish! Everything about Hotel do Chiado is excellent, starting and ending with their customer focused staff. This team is truly a pleasure. In between that is everything else that makes this property special, from a fantastic location where everything is in walking distance to clean, well- appointed and spacious rooms. Be sure not to miss a drink and incredible view from their rooftop... and follow it up with an outstanding breakfast in the morning. Hotel do Chiado gets all the stars and then some...a must stay!!!

Located in a prime tourist area, this hotel is perfect for a short vacation in Lisbon, whether with family or as a couple. The staff is exceptionally friendly, providing outstanding hospitality. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk from major Lisbon attractions, including the iconic Santa Justa Lift. Our first impression at check-in was a bit surprising, as the street-level lobby is quite small and unassuming. However, once we took the elevator to the main hotel level, we were pleasantly surprised by a beautifully maintained space with stunning views. We stayed in a room with a terrace, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and St. George’s Castle. The breakfast area also boasts fantastic panoramic views of Lisbon, making for a delightful start to the day. A special thanks to Tomas at reception for his warm assistance and valuable local tips—they truly made our stay even more enjoyable! 😊

Perfect location for this lovely hotel. Our room was great with a small terrace with a fabulous view. We are in the restaurant the evening we arrived and the food was delicious. All the staff were friendly helpful and professional. Especially Ricardo who really looked after us. It was our special anniversary and there was a lovely bottle of chilled fizz and pastries waiting for us in our room. We highly recommend this lovely hotel and look forward to returning soon. Wonderful welcome and the most friendly and helpful team. The food and service were excellent. The concierge in charge of the dining areas could not be more accommodating and helpful. The reception staff were also very pleasant and friendly. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, very clean and comfortable room, well located near the old town, waterfront and busy shopping area.

Staying at Hotel do Chiado was one of the best experiences I've had in terms of location, team hospitality and personal attention to details. The hotel team worked with me when I had to cancel my original reservation due to a medical emergency and helped me get my payments assigned to the new future date. They were very easy to work with and helped me along with anything I needed. Once I got to the hotel, I was super impressed by the personal attention to details at the hotel. First of all, the location, our room and views from the 7th floor were amazing. I watched the sunrise over Lisbon twice from our room terrace, when I was up early. I was able to walk to every location we needed to due to the hotel's central location in Lisbon. The staff wished me and my wife happy birthdays and got us a special gift of Champagne to celebrate. That was a very nice touch. They also helped with recommendations and tips for our stay in the city. It wasn't just one team member, the entire team took pride in their work and made us feel special every day during our stay there. Very happy with our experience and I would recommend Hotel Do Chiado to anyone with hesitation. If you want one of the best locations in Lisbon, you want that old school classy personal attention to detail and a super helpful team available to you and if you want one of the best views in Lisbon, stay at this hotel!!
