My family and I stayed at Dung Beetle Guest Farm at the start of our holiday from the UK. The location close to Port Elizabeth and Addo Game Reserve was really handy. The farm itself is set in beautiful gardens/countryside and provides a really unique experience a million miles away from everyday life! The team were very friendly and always willing to help including a surprise cleaning of our car on the morning of leaving. Would definitely stay again!

We had a few rustic cabins, these were excellent and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was an addition but well worth it.

Great location close to the Addo Park, nice and well-appointed chalet, excellent service, but unfortunately the ceiling void of our room was infested with bats that prevented us from getting sleep for the two nights that we were there. We raised it with the staff who confirmed that it was a known issue, which raises serious questions.

Our family of 6 enjoyed everything. Our bush cabins were in the middle of the bush and the outdoor shower was a special for us. You needed water to be hot )(as it's not summer yet), and it was.
Perfect place from where to do day trips to Addo Elephant park, it's not far to the main gate.

Lovely room and bathroom, we particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower. The road to the area where the property is based is very poor, not the owner’s fault but you need to drive very carefully, especially in the dark.

Wonderful stay and the staff could not do enough for us. Very convenient to Addo and many excellent Highly recommended. Wifi was not great but this was a small inconvenience.

We stayed in a luxury chalet and it was gorgeous! We really appreciated the attention to detail and loved the refreshing outdoor (but still secluded) shower!
The view from our veranda was stunning and we spent some time watching weaver birds build their nests in the tree next to the chalet. We enjoyed drinks on the sundowner deck, and an amazing meal.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and provided us with useful information for our ongoing trip.
Not only is this a fabulous place to stay, but it is very close the main gate of Addo Elephant Park.

We stayed in one of the dung beetle suites which was such good fun, hidden away in the undergrowth. Room was large enough for the four of us and our hosts Rod and Magna were both lovely and very knowledgeable.

Friendly hosts.
Nice farm setting, clean room and bathroom. Very close to the Addo Elephant park.
The road leading up to the place is quite rough, but I believe that is due to the lack of water in the area at the moment. Not the hotels fault, just allow so extra time as you will need to travel slowly.
