A lovely property with good staff, great service, and very comfortable rooms. We found this boutique hotel online and a very happy with our stay. We had friends who were from outside of Joburg join us, they have not heard of this facility, and they will return. Overall excellent facility with great stuff.

It was a terrific experience. The staff at the hotel is fantastic and helped us in any way, especially Peggie. The hotel itself is only 9 room, and guarantees a nice and quuet environment. Very good restaurant, and excellent breakfast. I most strongly recommend it.

A noce experience

The hotel is small, but with well appointed rooms. The shower in room 3 was tiny tho. Hotel has a nice restaurant and a very good breakfast. However, if you order aiport transfer confirm before your flight cos somehow they forgot to arrange transfer and it was a long cold wait at the airport. Super unpleasant after a very long flight.

Lovely, unpretentious hotel run by helpful and friendly professionals. Don't miss dining at the restaurant. It's worth it! I aim to return.

Zodwa was accommodating & helpful. Kitchen personnel were friendly. Now that I have had a good experience here, I shall return & refer others.

Clico Boutique hotel is a really nice establishment. The room was very clean. The bathroom is quite large with waterfall shower head and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately my sister got very ill after having dinner at the hotel. She had no energy, could hardly walk or speak. When we arrived home we took straight to the hospital and there we found out that she had samenella poisoning in the blood along with a bacterial gut infection which contributed to borderline kidney failure. She's still in the hospital recovering. Her situation made me dislike Clico hotel for the improper handling of food. I witnessed the same people who work in the restaurant were also cleaning the pool, sweeping and maintaining the grounds and will go back into the restaurant/ kitchen and served the hotel guests with the same attire . How incredibly stupid that they weren't mindful that they can bring in contaminants into the food area exposing their guests to serious illnesses. Very disappointing.

Arrived 3 hours before 2pm check in but staff quickly turned around room, very welcome after 20 hours flying from Scotland. Great service at dinner and breakfast Good pick up from airport and return

Great boutique hotel in the center of Rosebank! It is a very pretty property with lovely views and a quiet escape from the city. Excellent on-site restaurant and easy walking to Rosebank Mall, galleries and restaurants. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Highly recommend!

Excellent little boutique hotel, would recommend this hotel to all.

Clico was an excellent experience for me during my week stay in Johannesburg (Rosebank). The great stay can be attributed to the lovely people who work there. Spencer(My Guy), Sibusiso, Nomfundo, Spiwe, Trevor, Henry, The Chef and all others that I forget were professional, helpful and welcoming. Coming from the USA, I was impressed by the customer service and security there. I walked the neighborhood everyday with no issues. Thank you Clico and I will be back soon.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay! The place feels like a home with just nine rooms. The food is simply outstanding - hot breakfast is prepared to order and presented as a five-star restaurant meal in a sunny room with fresh breeze. The staff are fabulous - greeted by friendly and professional people at every turn, from the guard outside to the front desk and waiters. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet - great bedding. The location is on a nice street and super convenient. We walked to Rosebank restaurants (even at night) without any issues. Try a drink/meal at sunset the beautiful rooftop deck at Marble restaurant. Skip the impersonal chain hotels. This is so much better.

Great location, helpful staff willing to go the extra mile, stylish rooms, good food, let down only by some small maintenance points. Also, the pool probably isn’t safe to swim in (it was green!!)

The hotel was very nice, with spacious rooms and balconies/patios, a nice pool, decent wifi, accommodating staff, and a nice restaurant with good food and wine. Our hotel arranged a shuttle from the airport for ~$25 USD for the 30 min drive, but Uber is also possible. The surrounding area was very upscale and had numerous shopping malls with anything you could want to buy. It was not considered safe to walk the streets at night, even around our hotel.

The tv didn’t work. The queen died and we wanted to watch on BBC or CNN

Very cute boutique hotel with great service at this little gem. Restaurant made delicious meals. Room was good not great but we never spent much time in it. Windows, doors and overall room interior could use an update however we would still visit again. Excellent location.

We spent 1 night so as too avoid driving home after dinner. It was a good decision. This small little hotel is perfect for the business person who want to be central, but need quiet time after a hard day.

Safe, tranquil setting only 5 minutes walk from Rosebank Mall and restaurants. Staff super-helpful.
