The hotel was an OK overall. I would not stay here just for the hotel itself. Location was the main reason this time.

Good location and many dining options

Orakai is a great location, and that's why we continue to stay. As a Fraser Suites it was great, but more than a decade later it is becoming worn under Orakai management. Reception is accommodating, if not effusive. Rooms need an update and burnishing.

The hotel was in good location, but the building was old. The carpet was stained both in the hallways and inside the room.

The stay was excellent and problem free. I loved that it was a suite with a kitchen and plenty of space. The location was also central to a lot of things to see.

Everything was good with the property except the carpet in the bedroom - it was filthy

Staff were great and helpful. The beds are not comfortable at all, otherwise 5 star.

Had a great stay at this property. Very spacious room. Ideally located for public transport, food and within walking distance of many great places. I would happily stay here again 👍

Loved our stay. Place is clean and it’s close to bus and subway stations. The room were very spacious.

As a young family with two toddlers and an infant, we found the accommodation to be very suitable, offering ample space. The room provided more storage than we've experienced in any other hotel—plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space, enough to accommodate long-term stays comfortably. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, and the inclusion of a washer/dryer combo was convenient (though, as expected with condenser dryers, the drying process was quite slow and limited). We loved staying in the Insadong area, which was both vibrant and convenient for getting around and visiting local attractions. The only real downside—and quite a significant one—was the cleanliness, which fell below our expectations. The bedsheets were not changed automatically during our five-night stay, and the sheets and pillows had a yellowish tint. Additionally, the bathrobes were stained, and there was a noticeable amount of dust and other cleanliness issues that exceeded what we consider average.

The hotel is in Insadong, Seoul and the Iksundong hanok town is also nearby. All palaces are in walking distance.

It's great location and the apartment is very spacious and clean. The breakfast very limited so we had a breakfast outside or in the apartment. The staff is ok.

Loved the large and comfortable room and the great view. I took some really fun pictures from our bedroom window! We enjoyed the pool and were happy to be in such a great location. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel was professional and friendly and spoke great English. I’d absolutely stay here again. I also appreciated that they watched our bags before we were able to check in! My only complaints are that the room was always super hot, the comforter on the bed was too small for the actual bed, the tv has not a great channel selection and they have a dvd player in every room but don’t have dvds (who travels with dvds in 2024? entertainment options could definitely be updated), they don’t provide any coffee or water, and the elevator system using your key/entering your floor on a touch screen is bizarrely complicated and very glitchy! Basically every elevator ride ended up with confused guests in the elevator going to the wrong floor. I also found it interesting that there is a sign at the desk listing all of the things they do not do- We do NOT give umbrellas. We do NOT call taxis. Etc.- if these are things guests are asking for frequently enough to need to put out a sign saying you don’t offer these basic services… why not just start offering them? It felt strangely inflexible and a bit scoldy. Again, I would absolutely stay here again, but I feel like there are some very basic things they could change that would turn my 4 star rating into a solid 5.

We lived this hotel, central and everything easy to get too. Staff were fantastically helpful, called taxi's except once when the general manager was nearby as they weren't meant to! Would eat breakfast elsewhere as minimal otherwise brulliant

We stayed on the 5th floor, so it can be a little nosy from the street but it all gets quiet when it is time to sleep. We were given a 3 bedroom apartment even though I booked 2, so it was super spacious. We used the washing machine and dryer, cooked meals using the kitchen. I was able to request an iron from reception. There is a safe in the room. The showers worked perfectly. It is super convenient to shops and there is a couple of shopping streets (insadong and ikseondong) nearby. The coffee at Alto bar coffee opposite the apartment is very good. There is a mini 7-Eleven also across the street. Residents can use the pool, sauna and gym. We ate at this great restaurant only 6mins walk away called Insadong Manuel Bossam (they specialise in pork wrap and chive pancake). Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Easy access to train station.
