Hotel Day Plus Taichung

The staff and breakfast were great, smooth check in/out, but the rooms need serious updates. Signs of wear and tear throughout. Carpet with stained spots. Wall papers coming off.

很棒～ 整潔、乾淨、有特色 且有停車場可以停車，雖然我們到的時候只剩要走5分鐘左右路程的特約停車場. 也有小小的健身房、遊戲室，可以向櫃檯申請借用遊戲機（忘了是ps4還是Xbox)

compare to other hotels in their group. I think this hotel still have much room for improvement.

Hotel and rooms were tastefully designed, well furbished and clean. Lack of, rather than poor staff service encountered at reception as well as breakfast place. Quality of breakfast provided was poor - food was cold and items (no more eggs?!) ran out of stock early.

車位不多，如果客滿比較不方便

家庭房的廁所及淋浴間很小，使用起來很不方便。房間的色調及傢俱的安排會有種給人陳舊，太乾淨的感覺。住過很多台灣同類型或者更差的酒店，都沒遇到早餐這樣的不好吃。

Ceiling has crack lines. Better to her door instead of curtain separating the bathroom. Overall, the stay is quite pleasing.

Good value. Family oriented. Clean, good aforrarle dining room. Confortable, clean and very well priced.

Family / casual vibe, fine For business. It is modern-cutesy style (concrete floors, yet cheesy sculptures in lobby). There is a teeny fitness room and play room. Extremely clean. Artsy. Good value. Bizarrely they have a lovely and bright eating area on the ground floor which is always closed and put the free breakfast (international and fresh, pretty good for being free) in a dark and depressing windowless room in the basement. This one decision brings down their rating from a 4.5 to a 4 or so. The other strange thing is that there is no heat in the room. No biggie since it's warm season, but seems strange since everything else is so nice. Other nice things: room design good, there are designer local toiletries in the rooms and for sale in lobby. Plenty of towels, extremely helpful professional and courteous staff in uniform. English is sufficient for derpy no-mandarin guest.

The service and the reps were friendly and helpful. But the cleanliness could use some improvement. The hotel also offers free bicycle to roam around the city 24/7.

The hotel is funky, but the toilet is a bit small.

This hotel is nicely-designed and decorated. The room is clean and tidy. I had a great time staying there. The staff is super helpful too. The only problem is I ordered the premiere room and paid slightly more in order to get a bit more space. I checked with the reservation desk about my reservation when I moved in and they said it was the type of room I was entitled to get which to me, the most basic standard room. From the paper, it was genuinely the order the hotel received from Expedia. But I couldn't find the equivalent Chinese name of the premiere room on their hotel site or the Chinese version Expedia. So whoever is going to book this hotel is recommended to check the room type with the hotel's official website first.

little small room and rack of full equipped furniture but good to stay 2 nights at Taichung midtown with reasonable cost compare with other hotels in Taichung.

The room is small and the layout of the toilet is not good. We were asked to pay TWD 600 for requesting an additional towel. Overall, this is not the best hotel we have stayed during our 9 day trip. We have stayed in Yilan and Taipei.

the staff was friendly. the room was quite clean however the bathroom was just a tinted glass window. we stayed there three people so it wasn't that convenient in terms of getting dress after a shower since you have to stand in the shower and get dress.

I have been staying for 2 nites only and overall comfort. Only found that the bathroom do not have place to hang the tower or clothes.
