Very close to the Shilin night market can walk about 5-10 minutes, close to the MRT jiantan, around the hotel many cafes, restaurants and others. In front there is a park that is also fun.

Advantages of the hotel: near shilin night market, the MRT station, the breakfast is complete, the rooms are okay like a bathtub, shower, TV with various channels, the service is okay, even though I forgot to clean, the room is cleaned every day and it starts at 12 noon disadvantage: the hotel is a bit old. I've spent many times staying at this hotel.

Wow superb facilities especially their restroom/beauty room. Book the business class room :)

nice place & near the night markets

Most of the receptionist doesn't speak English well. For a front desk they should know how to speak English. The hotel itself is kind of old its very far from the pictures. Wasted our money on this hotel

It was rather nice and there was no fuss in the booking process.

Stayed 4 nights for business purpose, I have nothing to complaint. Room is as described, yes it is old, but the housekeeper always make sure you get the cleanest room everyday. They let you know who your housekeeper is so you know who to blame if you find your room dirty. In the lobby, there is a board where you can give review of your housekeeper by voting for them. Location is good, family mart and 7-eleven is walking distance. Subway and fresco bubble drink just around the corner. Watson and drug store are also close by. It is quite close to Shilin night market too but I am not sure if walking about 650 m is considered as close distance. Breakfast is overwhelmingly good. So many meat varieties. They have western and Asian breakfast combined in a small buffet restaurant. But the taste is really good. For the money I pay, it worth every penny staying at Star Beauty Resort.

Great value for your money. It was clean and staff was helpful and accomodating.
