Old property plus dirty and they didn’t clean our room not even single day, even though we stayed 3 nights

It likely gets booked because if has full kitchens, which is why we booked it. It is very tired and run down. Starting with check in, they just ignored our requests (I understand they were not guaranteed, but they could have responded) to have the two rooms near each other or on the same floor (they had us move the second day for this). The rooms were not set up with the bed types requested, know they are only twins. Room service: Rooms are not clean. They don’t clean well. We watched them use a vacuum to clean crumbs on the table, and then not clean the table after. There is no sanitizing at all (bring your own). House keeping is also very annoying. They bang in doors starting at 8:30am, even on days your room is not to be done. They woke me up 5 times out of 9 days. Despite only supposed to clean 2 times. There is a drip coffee maker and some pots and pans and silverware and such. But no coffee filters, seasonings, cooking oils, etc, bring these with you if you can or you will be stuck buying them for high costs and wasting most of it. Great location. Pool was nice. Gym requires an extra deposit to get a fob. They are not very communicative. They shut off the water and AC for a full day with notice on arrival, but with no notice prior. The ocean facing rooms reached 90°+ in December with no AC so we were kicked out of the rooms by 9am (water off time) with a sick child.

Next door had the best parking rates compared to everywhere else waikiki. All of Waikiki was within walking distance. We had Oceanview on the 37th floor. Great view, Quiet rooms and from outside too. The little mart is worth looking at also in the hotel has almost anything you need.

Convenient to have kitchen but minimally stocked. Overall the hotel was clean but not updated. No frills but practical. Walkable to the beach and shops.

Our stay at Aston Waikīkī Sunset exceeded our expectations. It’s not a luxury 5 star hotel but we needed accommodations for 6 within a month. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in the other bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. It was perfect for us and was walking distance to the beach, dining and shopping. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

This is a great place to stay; we were here for 6 nights. Had a full kitchen to cook meals,while we didn't take advantage of the grills outside, there are plenty options to cook your own or even have room service. The room overlooked the city and we had a great view each morning watching the sunrise. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. Definetly going to stay here when we visit again. Appreciate the warmth and hospitality received. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable!

The place is a bit dated but did the job..,everything you need is within 5 minutes. Bars, restaurants, beach and shopping all close by. The quality of the apartment is reflected in the price but it does the job for us and we will stay at Waikīkī Sunset again.

Great place to stay.

The property itself has seen better days, and needs upgrades. But the views are priceless. I stayed at the 31st floor with Mountain view. This building is in a high topographic point, making it taller than the buildings between itself and Manoa Valley, and providing an unobstructed view of the valley. Watching sunrise and sunset from the balcony was breathtaking. The unit I stayed was vintage and clean, the kitchen was equipped with the necessary pots and pans for cooking, and sets of dishes for 6 people. Housekeeping came every 3 days and could be scheduled if needed sooner. Each floor has a laundry room and trash shoot. The laundry machines are $1.75 each and use either coins or an app. The parking garage attacked to the building is paid separate ($25/day). The bottom 3 floors get filled quite fast and the upper 2 floors are always empty. Since clearance is tight in the garage, I preferred to park at the upper levels that were always empty. Plus, I was always able to secure a space close to the elevators.

The hotel is close to the beach and other attractions. Walking distance to the international market and the zoo. Place needs a lot of uplifting and the hotel rooms feels outdated.

The price was good and the unit was big enough for our family.

Employees very friendly, property need works/outdated, Very close to everything, 3 block to Waikiki beach, and shopping. Car parking very easy.
