avid hotel SUMMERVILLE

The first room we went in the heat wasn’t working however they were happy to move us to a new room. The room was clean and staff were pleasant. My only complaint would be the continental breakfast we had stale bagels and moldy cream cheese. I was not impressed. Over all I would stay here again and just skip breakfast.

Everything I could want in a hotel at this price point. Clean rooms and public areas, kind staff, and 24/7 coffee bar!

Very basic but clean hotel. The breakfast was unlike any other hotels I’ve have but it was good. Bed was comfortable. We would stay again.

The front desk clerks were very helpful. The people helping with breakfast were very nice. The hotel is convenient to the main road through Summerville, which has lots of chain restaurants and stores along it. It is also convenient to I-26.

The hotel seems brand new. Everything is on great shape. The bed was slightly firm, which I liked. I slept very soundly. The blackout shade works incredibly well. I overslept the first night because it was so dark in the room. Breakfast was OK but not great. The coffee is pretty good. The machine grinds the beans just as it makes your cup of coffee. There are some breakfast sandwiches under warming lights. Most are standard egg plus meat on a biscuit. Sometimes they also have egg bites. Some times they have a mini omelette wrapped in paper. They also provide hard boiled eggs, yogurt, snack bars, cereal, fresh oranges, and juices. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They remembered my brothers and me, saying Hello, how are you? each time we came by. We needed help with a couple of things, and they jumped right on it.

The roomwas extremely small. There's no closet. Walls are super thin. We actually could hear someone's toilet flushing. Doors slamming which was startling. Found a black bug in my bed.

Clean, efficient lay out, great front staff. Great location. We had a pet and room was perfect for us.

I like Avid Hotels because there is no carpet in the rooms. We have stayed at Summerville SC Avid several times and have been pleased with the facility.

The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfy, breakfast was decent and everything was clean

My room was right by the elevator and I could hear everything *cries*. It wouldn't have bothered me much but my neighbor above me or beside me... I could hear everything... from banging in the early morning of 6 AM. everything else was nice but that one thing really wore me out.

Staff was nice and room was quiet and clean.

Loved the beds! All amenities were there except 1 and half rolls of toilet paper. Woken up by someone coming in nextdoor at 3:30am. Doors are loud when firmly shut. Staff was friendly and there to assist if needed. Had requested a ground room but got 4th floor because rooms weren't cleaned yet downstairs at 3:30 pm check-in
